“When our A/C unit stopped working on a Sunday, we thought, of course, our luck.

But no fear! Thompson Heating & Cooling has a 24/7 answering service. We called and she passed the message over to Dan, who called ASAP. I gave him information on what was going on. He said our unit was frozen and would take 4 to 5 hours before he could do anything. He said he would be out to take a look this afternoon. He showed up very knowledgeable.

Unfortunately, our A/C unit was 26 years old and too old to repair. Our furnace was 41 years old and would no longer work well with any A/C units on the market.

Our luck—but we knew our cooling and heating system was getting closer to the end of its life.

We got a quote from Dan on a new A/C and furnace system. We called on Monday to order our new system. By 12:30, Hank was here measuring for our new system’s metal work.

By Friday, our new system was installed by Hank and Steve.

My husband and I have used Thompson Heating & Cooling for over 26 years. We got our first A/C unit from them. We have used them for maintenance on our systems.

From the first phone call to the answering service for our repair request, the answering service, the staff, were all amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and the callback was quick.

Hank and Steve were very professional. Their job was done very clean and with great attention to detail. (We are very clean and picky about how things are done.) We were thrilled with the work that was done. Everything was done very professionally, and they cleaned everything up.

They explained how everything worked and showed us, too. They answered all our questions.

The best part is we have A/C and heating systems for another 26 years. They have phone numbers for any assistance 24/7. That’s a great peace of mind for us older folks.
