“The staff is amazing!!! I had to have my girl put down when she could no longer move on her own, so it was a crisis situation for me. But the staff made an appointment that same day and gave her treats and loved on her and were very comforting to both of us. I put off having this done for several days but because of the staff I now understand it was necessary for her. She was q6 and had a great life. “February 1st 2024 was the day we lost our family kitty Missy. She was suffering so we took her to Akron Barberton vet to be put to sleep peacefully. I cannot say anything bad about this place. The doctor even spoke so softly and loving to my Missy, which in return made me cry harder, but that was going to happen period. I am just truly thankful that I could come up with the money for both euthanasia and so we could get her ashes back. When something like this happens unexpectedly, it makes it difficult because it's a little pricey, but I wanted my babies ashes home with us. The overall experience was absolutely comforting.The doctor and assistant came in and started preparing our girl gently and respectfully. I did not wish to see any of this but I wasn't leaving our girl. We watched each other till the very end when the light left her eyes and she just laid there. Looking back, it was truly surreal. It happened in the blink of an eye and I know she went peacefully. As much as I wanted her to pass with us at home, I just couldn't watch her suffer any longer.Missy, wait for us on that rainbow ? bridge. We will be there one day with you. Your with grandma now and she's gonna love you till we can again. ? ❤️ ?I'm not crazy about vets, but if ever I need one for my other babies, Akron Barberton Veterinary clinic has a couple loyal clients now. Thank you for caring so sweetly about our baby. Even during the worst storms, light can be seen.“

This level of care hasn’t been experienced with any of the other dozen specialty veterinarians who we’ve seen in the past. Strongly recommend this group of professionals.“

“Love Brown-Harold! She actually helped us when Green vet on Massillon Rd advised us that our dog was really sick. After a long discussion with them it was advised to possibly think about putting him down. After getting a second opinion with Brown-Harold we found out it was just a virus. She gave him some meds and he was fine. I will always recommend her!! We won't go anywhere else!“
“So I don't know why I have never reviewed our Vet before, but today (National Puppy Day), I feel like I should. My 3 dogs have been patients here, the oldest for 14+ years. We even moved 40+ minutes away, tried another vet ONCE, and came back. The entire staff is really quite remarkable. Today, all 3 of my "Ladies" saw Dr. Brown-Harold and the amazing staff at WAVC... 2 in office, and one on the operating table at Metro. Top notch care all-around. Delilah, 14, is dreaming away her pain meds on "her" beanbag chair as I write. I couldn't ask for a better place to care for my 3 dogs... "Bedside Manner" is impeccable, and I have always felt my questions are welcome... I will bring my animals here for as long as this Team practices. Thank you again WAVC.“

“Went in for an end of life visit for our elderly cat. The staff was great and gentle. They ensured everything went as smoothly and as dignified as possible. It was a hard day but the staff made it just a little easier to say goodbye.“

“I have a diabetic cat (Lance) and my Vet was out of town. I called Highland Vet Clinic, and they set me up with an appointment and were very helpful in my time of need! I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a knowledgeable, caring pet clinic! I found them to be very reasonably priced. We have 5 dogs and 2 cats and with Lance being diabetic we are at the Vet's office quite often.“
