February 1st 2024 was the day we lost our family kitty Missy. She was suffering so we took her to Akron Barberton vet to be put to sleep peacefully. I cannot say anything bad about this place. The doctor even spoke so softly and loving to my Missy, which in return made me cry harder, but that was going to happen period. I am just truly thankful that I could come up with the money for both euthanasia and so we could get her ashes back. When something like this happens unexpectedly, it makes it difficult because it's a little pricey, but I wanted my babies ashes home with us. I won’t take my animals anywhere else! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They get is in and out quickly and the pricing is reasonable. They are gentle with our pets and definitely care about what they are doing. We’ve brought our animals in for everything from regular check ups, to abnormal drooling/vomiting and they were able to accurately diagnose and help them the first visit!

I have a paid plan for my dog with Banfield. Our 7 yr old cat got pneumonia and was suffering,and I was forced to take a drastic action. I called Banfield and they told me it would cost a minimum of 400 to put him down, I explained the situation and I didn't have that much. They were very unsympathetic and told me to go elsewhere. Barberton Vet Hosp was very sympathetic and understanding and cost a little less than half. A great Veterinarian and Staff. I plan on canceling my plan with Banfield and taking all my pets to Barberton Veterinary Hospital!
