Ignacio (my cat) needed vaccinations. The receptionists were very friendly, and then the nurse and the veterinarian were excellent at explaining every detail. Even though Ignacio was scared, they handled him very carefully and lovingly so we all knew he was in good hands. There was also a very kind lady who gave him treads. We should definitely go back soon for more vaccinations and to get him fixed.<br>I hope to bring my dog to this place too. ❤️”

If you live in Akron or the area, I highly recommend! Also, I noticed people noting the costs. This is the by far most affordable vet I’ve been to in the Akron area. The $65 “fee” simply gets applied to your services/deducted from the cost of your visit (if that clears up anyone’s confusion). Again, nothing but positive things to say! “This vet left an impression on me. Over 20 years ago, there was a stray black lab living around Goodyear’s HQ in Akron. It was late fall and after months of trying to trap the dog to adopt it, I was given Dr. Slenn’s number as he worked with a group who tried to find homes for strays. Dr Slenn volunteered to find the dog and use a tranquilizer dart to capture him.<br><br>Unfortunately, the stray dog had a rare condition that made him allergic to the tranquilizer and he died. I know he felt terrible about it as I did, but it was not his fault. This vet loves animals and tries his best! If I still lived in the area and had dogs he would be the first vet I would call!!!”

“I am extremely grateful to Dr Fisher for helping my dog. She was only 1 year old with urinary incontinence. She was diagnosed by ultrasound to have congenital small kidneys. After visits to internal medicine consults there was nothing to offer other than a couple of meds that may help incontinence but had horrible side effects.I asked about diet to help protect her kidneys and was told only that there were prescribed foods when her kidneys fail. Nothing proactive. Also learning her incontinence could be unrelated to kidneys and maybe due to lack of hormones due to early spaying. Common to have happen. After exhaustive internet searching to educate myself to find options to help her I found Dr Fisher. With her guidance and holistic treatments and diet changes, I am thrilled to say my dog is doing well. Blood and urine tests are great and no further incontinence at this time. I wanted to give my dog the best quality and chance in life, so I am grateful of her outcomes.”
