“I hired Visiting Angels for my beloved Mother, Thelma Calfee for a short period of time to come to her apartment and care for her. She had a lady, Tracy, and my Mother loved her, she treated my Mother like a friend, I can't say enough about her. She was sweet, kind, whatever my Mother needed help with she did. It gave me comfort when she was there caring for my Mother. I wish we had been able to continue the service but my Mother fell again and needed to go back to the hospital and then rehab once again. Visiting Angels are the best.“

“This is a terrible company who lied about the services that they were going to provide for me after my pelvic surgery. I was told (and I asked multiple times) I would have access to skilled AND non skilled services. Once I was home I was then told that they don't offer non skilled services including home health aide which I desperately needed for my 3 month BED REST recovery. My insurance only covers non-skilled help (bathing, dressing, meals) if the same agency provides both and United Healthcare gave me the referral to residence for that reason (because they are on record to having both). Insurance covers up to 32 hours combined. Residence was only giving me 5 hours of services that did not include those necessities. Basically they came, took my temp and blood pressure, interviewed me and left. Because of their lack of consideration I didn't get the care I needed. When my incision was bleeding they let me lie in the dried blood for 2 days before I had to have a family member come help me get cleaned up. They also lied, and said I was not approved for additional OT when my doctor ordered it for me. I just got my letter for my insurance that said I had been approved for additional visits. But they discharged me and said insurance rejected for more visits. If you have comprehensive care needs, this is not the company for you.“

“Holy Family Hospice is without a doubt the absolute best hospice care center imaginable. From start to finish the entire staff treated my dying mother with the utmost dignity and compassion. Attending to my mother's end-of-life event was a crushing burden for me - initially her only caretaker - and I was relieved beyond comprehension to have had Holy Family Hospice take over. There is NOTHING bad to say about Holy Family Hospice. From the receptionist to the director, everyone made my mother and I feel like ours was the single most important situation in the world. From the very first telephone call where I cried over having to hire a caregiver for my sweet mama, to the last call where I stopped using them because mama moved to a long term care facility, I can’t recommend them enough!
