“This family of UC Bearcat Alumni live from one corner of Ohio in the north to the opposite corner in Cincinnati. A little over a year ago we found a 5 story house in Mount Adams for the purpose of gathering as a family and making memories in the city that is so special to us. Our new home boasted 3 outdoor deck spaces (over a 1000 square feet) of prime outdoor living along with an exterior in desperate need of renovation and some repair from water damage and the unusual weather extremities that had taken their toll on our “diamond in the rough” project. We initially teamed up with a premier decking company in the area to complete a custom deck on our rooftop level who brought Harper Roofing on board because of their excellent work ethic and reputation. John Harper’s worth ethic and reputation are refreshingly accompanied by his approachability, enthusiasm and his “it’s all good” attitude when things get challenging. Normally, a client would run from a company’s “it’s all good” response to the “challenging”…but John and his crew showed no fear in taking on the complexities of our 5 story rooftop project. Harper Roofing isn’t your average one trick pony in the roofing business. They are awesome in they can complete your whole exterior project: Siding, gutter installation, metal and high end soffit work, windows, doors and decorative composite stone walls. John partnered with our deck company, exhibiting a respect and appreciation for how their areas of expertise complimented our vision as a client. In addition, John provided us with his honesty, integrity and timely estimates that meticulously detailed the work to be accomplished and separated the material and labor costs. John broke our project down into specific stages and provided an accurate timeline for the completion of each stage. This made the duration and cost manageable. I cannot imagine how we could have completed our exterior renovation without John and his “can do” crew. They worked from before dawn to just after dark” to get the project done. John left us with an absolutely beautiful outer exterior and outdoor spaces that knock our socks off. He also grew a friendship in the process!“

“We just had a new roof put on by Crown Pointe Remodeling. From the start, when Quincy first came and walked us through the process showing us pictures of the appearance of our very old roof to when we saw the finished beautiful new roof, he was with us all the way. He brought us samples of shingles. I had trouble visualizing what a whole roof would look like, and he shared his expertise as to what colors would blend and brighten our home. He kept us apprised of each step. He provided the personal touch we so appreciated. It was a challenge finding rain free days. Finally, no rain was forecast for two days. His crew came at 7:30 AM and began attacking the old shingles. They were hard working, professional and efficient. When they left at 8:30 PM that night after cleaning up everything, it was as if a genie had come and waved a magic wand. Five stars are not enough to say how easy this whole process was and how highly we recommend Crown Pointe Roofing and Remodeling.“

“We recently engaged Holmes Renovations to replace our 30 year old deck. I am not going to devote much time in this review to address the quality of their work, other than to say it is outstanding. These folks clearly know what they are doing, and we are exceptionally pleased with our new deck. I think what distinguishes Holmes, however, is that from start-to-finish, every person we interacted with was professional, courteous, and genuinely had a customer-centric focus. Their design staff helped us configure the best deck for our situation by giving us ideas/options with regard to layout, materials, etc. and also shared some suggestions that allowed us to save a few bucks in the process. There was absolutely no sales pressure, and we had all the time we needed to make any decisions about how to proceed. Once under contract, their administrative staff kept us informed about the scheduling of the work, expected timeframes for the delivery of materials, due dates of payments, etc. There were no surprises, and any minor changes to the schedule that did occur were always communicated to us in advance. The actual crew that did our work was terrific. They showed up as promised, worked diligently through some pretty unpleasant weather to keep things on schedule, patiently answered all of our questions about what they were doing, and were just incredibly nice people. We identified one minor issue during the project, and they immediately addressed it without question. They also, graciously and at no additional cost, did some work that went beyond the scope of the project by repairing some minor damage to the house that could not have been avoided during the demolition of the original deck. The construction supervisor checked in appropriately and always responded immediately to our phone calls and/or texts, but quite honestly, the crew doing the work was so good, we really didn't have much need to call on him (which is a good thing). We wanted to make some landscaping changes to enhance the surroundings of our new deck, and Holmes' owners also put us in touch with a company that they have used on some of their other projects. It was a solid referral---the work and people involved were great, and everything was done timely and as promised. We had a wonderful experience with Holmes, and would not hesitate to hire them again, or recommend them to others.“

“The best services are obtained by word of mouth. One of my neighbors had their roof done years ago and I was researching a roofing contractor and found out about C.H.I.
I called multiple roofers and got many quotes. C.H.I. wasn't the cheapest but they weren't the most expensive. I would also have to wait a month before they got to me.
C.H.I. was a great experience. They use quality materials and my roof was done in 1 day. Their work crew was very diligent and the results were great. It turned out to be better quality than the job next door by another contractor that took a week.
Rob called me the next day to schedule punchouts for a few things he noticed about my job that he thought needed to be corrected.
I was also getting gutters and they showed up the next week. Same great quality and workmanship.“
