“Many years ago, I had a very bad experience when I had a procedure done at another dental office. I , from that point on was terrified to see a dentist. Basically I didn’t go to the dentist any longer. Then I had tooth pain and had no choice, so I chose another dental office and they were nice enough but, sent me to have the tooth pulled. When I went back a second time, they advised that most of my back teeth needed to come out. I was afraid to go back and very upset that I was not going to have many teeth left. I talked to my friend, who goes to this dentist office and told her how upset I was. She begged me to come see her dentist as they saved one of her teeth and they are very compassionate. I trusted her and gave them a try. I made my first appointment a couple of years ago. I had a cleaning and X-rays and they created a plan for me to have all of my teeth fixed, including the ones the other dentist wanted to remove. They made me feel comfortable and I trusted them. Any time I was upset they reassured me they would take care of me. I no longer have anxiety about going to the dentist, all my teeth are fixed. I love my dental office. Every single person that works there brightens my day with their positive and friendly attitude. I look forward to my visits and am thankful that my friend convinced me to make that appointment.“

“Milford Dental Excellence truly lives up to its name. I came in as a new patient needing a chipped tooth repaired, and from the moment I walked through the door, I felt genuinely cared for. The front desk greeted me warmly and checked me in right away. Within minutes, Courtney, the dental hygienist, brought me back — and she was incredible. She was kind, attentive, and so informative. She listened closely to my concerns and explained exactly what they would do to fix my tooth. Her personable, down‑to‑earth nature instantly put me at ease. She was so easy to talk to and I really appreciated her reassurance and kind words.

When Dr. Reineck came in, I was equally impressed with his kindness and concern. He introduced himself, shared a bit about the practice and the history of MDE, and took his time asking thoughtful questions about my tooth and dental history. His calm, patient demeanor made me feel comfortable in a way I honestly haven’t felt at a dentist office before. I didn't feel rushed or unheard. He answered all of my questions and offered additional information about other concerns I had. I felt so relieved and thankful for his expertise.

“I went to the same dentist for 30 years. He did a root canal resulting in an abscess in 2019. When I moved to Cincinnati, I saw a few different dentist but ended up going to Crutchfield dentistry. Dr Crutchfield immediately found that there was still an abscess which could cause bone loss. She referred me to an endodontist who determined the tooth could not be saved. Dr Crutchfield extracted the tooth. Dr. Crutchfield is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. It’s baffling to me how she found this seven years later while other dentist did not. Highly recommend Crutchfield dentistry.“

Anytime my teeth start feeling like they're fighting the floss, I schedule a cleaning and they get them nice and gappy again. I appreciate catching a nice breeze between my mellow yellows.

Natalie does my cleanings and she's always super helpful. She has a gentle touch, which is important because my inner child still occasionally wants to throw up a defensive hand and protect my face from what it perceives to be an act of clinical aggression.

Even though I do my best to leave a little extra lunch behind as a challenge, I feel like my gums barely bleed when she goes to town.

No, I do not currently have a dental drill aimed at my face while writing this review.

Dr. Wallace was a good dude, and although I was sad to see the fish tank gone on my most recent visit, I understand why Dr. Graham lit it on fire. After years of training under Dr. Wallace, feeding the fish, and cleaning the tank, he earned that right.

Plus, it must have cost a fortune to maintain, and the fish seemed like they were on strike during my previous visit. Better to get rid of them before they unionized the tank.

All jokes aside, they do a great job and are fun to chat with between drilling, gargling water, and vacuuming out my mouth. Somehow they manage to make a trip to the dentist enjoyable, which feels like a minor miracle.

It's also comforting to know they're fellow 90s Disney fans. They just don't make 'em like they used to anymore, do they kids?

After flashing a few smiles and singing our favorite Disney songs, we held a brief moment of silence in memory of Mufasa and shared a couple tears while recalling the collective childhood trauma inflicted upon us by Scar and that stampede.

Anyway, put your childhood fears of the dentist to rest and give their dental chairs a spin. You're gonna like the way you smile. My food processors guarantee it.

Just stay away from any fish tanks you see popping up in there. They have a tendency to catch on fire...
