“I was in need of switching vets and with my kitty’s complicated medical issues she can’t be seen by any vet. My initial call to this vet to see if they could even help her the staff was amazing. I get her records over to them and they reviewed them with 2 Dr.s and called me to discuss my options. The compassion they showed me in every call I made to them was awesome. Then walking through the door the amount of thought that went into their set up was noticed right off the bat. They have a drive up window for early morning procedure/ surgery drop offs. The Dr. calls to give you their findings and follows up. I would recommend the veterinarian practice to everyone! Amazing staff! Thank you!“

They treated my Marley like their own up until his last day here with me and my family! “Very friendly/informative staff. My pitbull needed a tumor removed & they checked her out, got surgery scheduled asap and made it a very easy process to get through. Stitches only took a few minutes to be removed and she was healed up soon after.“

“I came back to Big Creek after getting a new stray kitty I haven't been to them in awhile because this was the first pet I've had since back then The girls were wonderful on the phone and got me in the next day Dr Hirch was very kind, warm, and intelligent.His advice was to treat, then "wait and see", which I think is a great idea My kitty was getting an exam, ear cleaned, nails trimmed, and x-ray, anti-biotic and Prednisone. I don't consider a $600 Bill unreasonable whatso ever.! People seem to forget these are DOCTORS of our pets. Do u complain when a doctor of your own charges $500 and just talks to you? I have a dentist who charges $350 dollars just to do a small filling --Do u go to the grocery store, pick out a steak, and ask the cashier if u can have it for a dollar? Why do you expect these vets to take less? This is their livelihood They also have staff to pay, insurance, supplies, meds, their building and taxes! Then their own personal needs. Sorry but don't expect these professionals to take any less for the care they are providing for our pets--“

“I am very thankful for Lake Animal Hospital! Any time I had a concern with my dog, they get me right in for an appointment. Unfortunately my dog was diagnosed with lymphoma 6 months ago. Dr. Crouser was so helpful, kind and compassionate through that difficult time.“

“They got me in for a same day appt as someone who’s never been a patient there before, for my cat who was battling an upper respiratory infection, a fever and dehydration. Despite my cat being difficult and aggressive because she was ill, all the staff was still pleasant and treated her with care and were very sweet (even though she was trying to rip their faces off). They gave her an antibiotic shot and fever reducer which has helped her. Even called to check on her a few days after her appt. She might need a follow up appt, so I will definitely bring her back here!“

“I have been going to this vet for several years and I have no complaints. They are always honest about what needs to be done and give me a breakdown of the cost as I am on a budget. When we just had to decide whether needed to put my dog down or not, Dr Jenny provided a cost of whether or not it would better to keep him alive or not. Unfortunately, due to his X-rays, honest opinion, and facts, we decided to put him down. When we put him down, we were in the room, my daughter held him, gave him hisses and we even were allowed grieving time after he was pronounced. This is an awesome vet, and I would recommend them to everyone!!“
