Had back surgery in ‘22 which helped until new issues rose. I dreaded picking up items, lifting pots and pans, getting in and out of a car, anything involving my lower spine. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. McHugh and his team. Before my surgery, I was in severe pain from a herniated disc at L5–S1 and could barely walk for almost two months. The pain was overwhelming and the thought of surgery was very stressful.
Dr. McHugh took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel calm and confident about the procedure. His professionalism and reassurance made a huge difference during a very difficult time.
Within just one week after the surgery, I was already feeling extremely better and able to move much more comfortably. The improvement was incredible.

My daughter has been doing piano for a few years. Her instructor is amazing, flexible hours when needed. She learns her favorite pop songs, which is alot of fun. She can read and write music at 8 years old, which is amazing to me.
My little girl also did guitar for a few months, she learned pop and alternative music until her schedule got to full & had to pull out of guitar unfortunately.
The staff is really top notch and we are very happy to attend this establishment!

I’ve been coming to Brillo y Belleza Hair Salon for years, and after getting busy and taking a break for a while, I recently started coming back religiously again — and I truly missed seeing Jessica!
I always get the aminoplastia hair treatment, and it has completely transformed my hair. It helps nourish and strengthen it while giving it the most unbelievable shine. Jessica is incredibly knowledgeable and always honest about what’s best for your hair, which I really appreciate.
I also love that the products she uses are natural and leave my hair feeling healthy, smooth, and beautiful every time. So happy to be back — highly recommend! ?

I had a large growth on my face that my dermatologist determined was Squamous cell carcinoma cancer. She said the procedure for this is a Mohs operation, which entails cutting out the cancer until there’s none left and then stitching up the skin leaving a permanent scar. When I asked how big the scar would be she said between one and four inches, depending on the depth of the cancer. This scared me and I looked for another cure. Luckily I found Dr Barazani who gave me hope and assured me that the cancer could be removed through radiation treatment. After 12 easy painless treatments the carcinoma was completely gone and I was cancer free…and no scar on my face. Dr Barazani is a wonderful doctor and I heartily recommend him.
Anda is the best! She is so warm, kind, and knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable right away. She did such an amazing job on my nails — I’m loving the dazzle manicure! Her prices are also great, and the experience is so much better than going to a typical nail salon. I’m so glad I found her and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Vin has worked for me for years! It is very difficult to imagine anybody better than him at what he does ! He is so good that you will recommend him to a friend and when you check back with your friend, he is already doing work for his parents and brother and all the neighbors!!! Dougie and his crew repaired our home after a tree crashed it! Roof beams were broken it was a mess. The job was extensive and they were professional and knowledgeable through every challenge! We hired Dougie and his crew again to work on our commercial building! Dougie is my go too, highly recommend him!
Shear Instincts is the best salon in West Islip. Steph the owner is an amazing stylist as are the rest of her staff. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. Do not hesitate to go there.
Came in, got greeted immediately and was cut next literally a walk in. Cut was fresh and done relatively fast.
Today was my last visit with Holly and the team before moving out of the area. I'm so sad to leave these wonderful, exceptionally talented people who care so much about the work they do. Best barbershop on LI!!!!! Old school flare mixed with new school style. If you are looking for a solid hair cut this is the place. No worries leaving this place with a bad haircut. The staff is professional and treats you like family not just a random guy getting a buzz cut. Definitely check this place out !!!

Parking is limited but worth parking a block away and walking.
Some staff members do make house calls with appointments so that’s definitely worth 5 stars considering how busy life can be to make a formal trip with kids for haircuts at the shop.

We decided to try it and made an appointment with Mary. Mary is a perm pro! My son's hair came out awesome and was EXACTLY what he wanted. Today, a summer Sunday, we woke up to an overflowing ,leaking toilet bowl when we used our upstairs shower. We tried everything to unclog it. Nothing helped. We.called East Coast thinking they would probably get back to us tomorrow. But , within minutes he called us right back and come within a half hour on a Sunday. . He knew exactly where the clog was. It was a tough one to unclog due to our curvy pipes. But, Adrian was so knowledgeable and had all the right tools. Hes a pleasant man and explained everything that was happening and how he was gonna clear it. Within minutes it was all clear. Thank you, Adrian for responding and coming on a Sunday.
