I have been getting my haircut with Stephanie (the owner) for about a few years now and she has literally changed my hair life. When I first came to her I had a horrible experience with another salon. They ruined my hair with a keratin treatment but Steph saved my hair and got it back and better. She is the best! The salon has a great atmosphere, they are always on time, always do charitable events and super friendly. Best Salon on Long Island! Between the beautiful decor, high quality products available for clients to the fabulous and affordable services offered ~ Shear Instincts is the place for you. I have been a loyal client since I was a child and plan on continuing to be forever. The staff is just amazing and they go above & beyond to make sure all clients are well taken care of and feel/look their best. Makes sense that they’ve been in business for 40 years now! Definitely stop in or call to book your first appointment!

Best salon around!! The new owner Stephanie is absolutely amazing & her work is by far the best! I refuse to go anywhere else but here & ONLY Stephanie can touch my hair! Her and her staff are incredible everyone there makes you feel like family ☺️ I tell everyone I know to come here cause they are truly amazing at everything they do!
