“What an amazing company!!!The day just before Thanksgiving my mothers neighbors electrical panel caught fire at her home. During that event at the neighbors home, Central Hudson goes over and decided to pull my 80yr old mother’s electric supply to her home the day before Thanksgiving. No notice, no reason as to why! Told her it will not be restored until an electrician comes and changes the meter pan. What’s wrong with the meter pan??? No explanations at all from Central Hudson.Panicked not knowing what to do we called D Silvestri & Sons Inc.Within a 1/2 hr the owner Dan was at my mother’s front door to help. Set things in motion for Owner Mike and his technicians Mike and Chance to take care of all the electrical issues that could have been a serious problem. They all went above and beyond! With other things going on at the house due to no power the basement had also flooded. It took them 2 hours to pump out basement before starting the work. They even brought my mom coffee. “I fortunately have very little experiences with plumbers, All I know is when I hear other people mention plumbers, they talk about spending big bucks.I had an outdoor patio drain that I was 95% certain was plugged with mud, grass and roots based on my extensive, but feeble attempts to unplug the drain. Harris plumbing will come over to your home, and give you their educated guess as to what you are dealing with for $20 (that's a steal!). But then of course comes their suggestion which is all fixed prices. My technician, Sam (very professional and easy to deal with), felt a snaking was all that was needed (for $750) but if he had to use jetter or go in with a camera because he was unable to snake out the drain, he'd roll over half of the $750 into the next job.Fortunately the snaking was all that was needed, but it took hours. 9:30 to 2:30. Hand digging and moving heavy rocks was needed but he finally broke thru.Other places had quoted me $250/hour. At that rate the price would take been well over $1200. So I feel I got a relative bargain for the time it took.I would definitely use Harris plumbing again. They also do heating, air conditioning and other other things as well“
