“Julie is the absolute best. My puggle Layla is very nervous & skeptical but Julie took her time to let Layla roam around the salon before her appointment to warm up, and I didn't feel rushed when dropping her off. Julie's dog comes to work with her and she's a doll too! At other salons, I've picked up my dog after the appointment and she's visibly distressed for the rest of the day. Julie called me to let me know Layla was close to being done and when I arrived, Layla was hanging out behind the desk, comfortable behind a playpen gate (but not in a kennel) next to Julie while Julie was working on her next dog client. Layla was happy and has never looked better! Julie books pretty far out, but if you make your next appointment when checking out, you'll have no issues. we can't wait to visit again!“

“I sent an email on a day they were closed and received a response within the hour. That’s unheard of!! They followed up with a phone call first thing the next day when they were open with patience and understanding of my dog’s situation. Some have been adequate and others not so much, then there is Paws on Fifth with Erica Castaldo heading the "pack". A more conscientious and caring pet advocate I have never experienced. Please notice what a difficult service this is, tending to so many animals and owners. There is a necessary level of noise and dog hair and driers on an on-going basis, yet they persevere and each pet is as important as the next. “Had a very good visit with Dr bardari. My dog had some very vague symptoms and the dr came to a very likely diagnosis of low grade pancreatitis. She made him more comfortable with fluids and an anti nausea meds and he is back to himself.“

- Facility is kept immaculate without feeling sterile.
- Very transparent pricing.
- Their “Fear Free” handling can really make a difference, especially for older or vulnerable cats that can actually get sicker from stress.
- Management and staff have always been responsive to even minor feedback.
- Handling of insurance is seamless. Never have to even think about it.

After 5+ years of having 3 cats at Heart of Chelsea (2 routine/healthy cats, one who went through an uncommon illness) we couldn’t be happier and have never been disappointed.

It’s a 25 minute trip for us, but easily worth it.

I have a very aggressive and large dog and they so kindly squeezed me in when he started limping. They were extremely patient with both me and my dog Sam. Dr. Kremmerman, Malik, Diana and the front desk staff (I’m so sorry I forgot your names!!!) were absolutely wonderful and made this process so much less stressful. I had been dreading coming in to get the help he needed because of his aggression. I’m so incredibly glad I came. Thank you guys so much from the bottom of my heart!!!

“I brought my cat Cannoli here to get groomed. She is a very high anxiety kitty and I haven’t had the best luck with previous groomers. It’s hard to find a groomer who is good with cats, not just dogs, so as you can imagine, I was worried about what the experience would be like here. Haley went above and beyond to make sure Cannoli felt comfortable enough to stay for her appointment. She let my partner stay there by her side while she got her nails trimmed just to test the waters, which I thought was very nice. Once she was done, she came back happy and groomed very nice! Yesterday was my first time here with my girl who would shake like a leaf at the groomer I previously took her to for several years. I wanted to try somewhere new to see if she'd have the same shakes and anxiety, and as much as she did when we walked in, after I picked her up, it dissipated quickly. I attribute this to the very calm atmosphere. She was not put in a cage when I dropped her off, there weren't dogs waiting in cages for their turn, it was quiet and she was laying on the floor like a queen when I picked her up - looking so gorgeous I might add! She even got to pick a toy before leaving! I feel that this positive experience will keep her from being too anxious in the future and I can say with all assurance that THIS will be her new groomer!!
