From the moment I stepped into the office, everything just clicked. Check-in? Easy as pie. Even though my interaction with the front desk was short (because the moment I walked in everything was already handled—just had to sign one quick form), I have to say: the women behind the desk were everything. Warm smiles, friendly vibes, and total competence. They were like the welcoming committee for this medical dream team—setting the tone with “you’re in good hands” energy before I even had the chance to sit down. Literally. I was just about to park myself in the waiting room when Darwin swooped in to bring me to the back. Now let’s talk about Darwin—this man is a GEM. Professional, knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely listened as I explained my symptoms. He asked all the right questions, got what I like to call my “eye vitals,” and when I mentioned the pressure and near-complete vision loss in one eye, he didn’t skip a beat—he checked my eye pressure right away and went straight to consult with Dr. Li. He also made me laugh, which was much needed. Like, give this man a raise and a trophy. Enter Dr. Li—poised, brilliant, and an absolute boss in the best possible way. She walked in with such calm authority and compassion, I instantly felt at ease. She took her time, examined my eyes in every way imaginable, asked thorough questions, and didn’t rush a single moment. When it came time to make the call on whether to send me to a specialist or perform an emergency procedure right there—she trusted her instincts, chose to act, and walked me through every single step so I knew exactly what to expect. Her communication was top-tier and her hands? Steady and confident. The whole procedure? Seamless. I left that office feeling like I had just been taken care of by the Beyoncé and Jay-Z of ophthalmology. Seriously. I trusted them implicitly and still do. I wasn't sure if I had insurance and she was so helpful with looking this up and letting me know exactly what was available to me and what my options were. My exam was quick and seamless. When it came to picking glasses, there were so many different options! Once I decided on a pair, Sophia and Cheryl were great with my whole check out process. I saw Dr. Lutz yesterday and he was my previous eye doctor at his last location. He is always thorough, patient, and kind. He always answers all of my questions and never rushes me. This place is IT, and the MVP of the whole operation is Kenley. I've been here a couple of times, and every single time, Kenley has been a total rockstar. But my most recent visit? ICONIC. So here I am, thinking I need a whole new pair of glasses (cue the drama). Turns out, I just needed my current glasses (from over a year ago, no less) adjusted because, surprise, I never came back to get them fitted properly. Classic me. Kenley, with his top-tier humor and customer service finesse, had me cracking up while making my glasses fit like a glove. Seriously, who knew getting glasses adjusted could feel like a VIP experience? And just when I thought it couldn't get better, Kenley casually guided me over to the sale rack, and honey, let me tell you--I walked out with not one, not two, but THREE pairs of Ray-Bans. When I recently got a prescription for new glasses I thought about trying Costco but then thought about allof the times that Joe helped me with broken & bent frames over the years. I've been in for many adjustments, nose pads , screw tightening etc. When I decided to stay with Davisvision I had the pleasure of meeting Camilla for my new glasses . After a seamless visit picking put new frames & getting measurements I was told possibly 2 weeks they would be ready. I received a text 6 days later that my glasses were ready. I wore them home that day & placed them in the case a few hours later. The next day I was trying them again and had a problem with the earpiece. I brought them back and Camilla tried adjustments but decided " your glasses are new and I don't want you having any issues down the road" She changed my frames out for new frames while I waited. Amazing Store, with amazing customer service. Im glad I stuck with my decision.“
