I was able to make an appointment instantly, same day as I suddenly needed prescription sunglasses. Dr. Sandra John was thorough and efficient and the equipment was modern. I was in and out in a few minutes and the whole experience from start to finish was excellent. They took my insurance and I got a decent deal on my glasses as well. Overall, extremely satisfied. I have not physically received the glasses yet. That will happen in 7 to 10 days. The sales person who sold me my glasses was very patient and attentive and tried to get me the best prices. I bought 3 pairs.

love this salon, I met with Nataly for a consultation about hair color and style and she guided me through the entire process and helped me figure out what i wanted and was honest when things wouldn't work/look good. Just today she touched up my balayage and saved my bangs that another salon completely butchered. so sweet and attentive, i cant wait for my future appointments with her. Ive had my hair cut by Jimmy for more than ten years, following him from shop to shop. He opened his own shop on main street, he's the best. I moved upstate but come home to get my haircut from Jimmy.
My first experience here kept me coming back. The overall atmosphere is friendly and enthusiastic. Barbershop is an ideal location with cool vibes. Great pictures on the wall and everyone is very accommodating and friendly. I bring my son here daily as the barbers are patient and listen to every every day tell you're asking for. They accommodate specific styles And always go above and beyond to make sure you are happy.

Today my girls celebrated their 11th birthday with 6 friends getting their nails done at Sammis! They were extremely accommodating and even spoiled the birthday girls with a surprise. On top of great service and friendly conversations, their pricing is extremely reasonable. Highly recommend!

This was my second experiences with Alex! At my first appointment we connected and chatted the whole time—she found my skin barrier was compromised and so we changed up my products and set a plan to calm my skin a bit.
This second appointment was a follow up—and not only did my skin improve with her plan but it feels smoother than before, I have less breakouts even with hormonal fluctuations, and I can already see a difference in the overall appearance. I had the Qi Beauty treatment and the entire experience wa so relaxing I almost went straight into a nap! It was exactly what I was needing and I left feeling refreshed and renewed.
A Hidden Gem! Alex took care of me for my 60min customized facial for which I bought a Groupon and it was amazing! It’s a cozy quiet environment. They were very friendly and accommodating and allowed me to swap services of the same price with my Groupon.

Clean and professional! the massage was awesome. My only complaint was the co workers were talking very loud which didn't make it relaxing. I would definitely go back. I did 1 hour back and 1/2 hr foot and totally worth the money.

Nina did wonders for my tight hips back and neck, for my deep tissue massage. Feel like a new person. Would highly recommend nina she is strong sensitive and really knows the spots that need attention! Best massage I’ve had in ages. My hot water heater sprung a leak on the afternoon of July 3, meaning that I was not going to have a repairman come until Monday. At 8 am Monday morning I called a firm with whom I have transacted in the past with excellent results, Sampson Plumbing and Heating. Their two plumbers were here by noon. Not only did they fix my water heater, but they repaired another half dozen problems with my plumbing that I had put off for the last year. Their work was fabulous, everything installed as I asked for, everything worked perfectly. Nice fellows with excellent personalities, I really felt that they were prioritizing my interests while they were here. The were neat, creative with their solutions, and the cleaned up after themselves when finished. I could not be happier about the work performed by Sampson Plumbing and Heating, especially that their prices were very reasonable as well. If you need a plumber in the Stony Brook area, I recommend Sampson Plumbing and Heating as your first call, they always have exceeded my expectations.

Highly recommend these guys. They came asap due to a burst pipe under my kitchen floor. They ripped up my kitchen, replaced everything, and put everything back and you could never tell they were there. Came back 2 days later for something else, 2 hours after I called. Highly respectable, competent, and skilled.

The Pojero Family Chiropractic team is simply the best! Dr. John and Dr. Gabby are very experienced and knowledgeable. I was experiencing some serious neck and back issues and this amazing husband and wife duo fixed me right up. As soon as you walk into their office you feel welcomed and comfortable. Dr Ron is the only physician I have ever encountered who is both reassuring and extremely solution oriented. He works as a detective to not mask your symptoms but to truly discover the root cause and ways to fix it. I send everyone to him. He’s absolutely wonderful.

I really love this place. It’s small, cozy, and has everything you need — blocks, mats, straps, blankets, all of it. Some of the teachers even end class with a little Reiki, which is such a beautiful touch. All of the instructors are kind, grounded, and ego‑free, and people of all different levels come to the classes. The focus is really on inner work rather than trying to “keep up,” which I appreciate so much.
Roberta, the owner, runs everything smoothly and efficiently. I joined less than a year ago and have enjoyed it deeply. My legs and hip area had been bothering me for years — I’m pretty sure I was out of alignment — and about a month after starting here, the pain completely subsided. I honestly didn’t realize yoga could help with that.
