I can’t say enough good things about Karasmatic, starting with booking my appointment. They were able to fit me in kind of last minute, and the staff was kind and caring. Linda gave me a wonderful, relaxing massage, making sure I was comfortable and adjusting the pressure to my liking. She even ended up telling the front desk to only charge me for a Swedish instead of a deep tissue since the pressure was a little too much for me, which was so nice. Emily shaped and tinted my eyebrows and was so friendly and knowledgeable. She spent a lot of time explaining different techniques for sparse eyebrows since mine are super thin from years of over plucking. She did an amazing job considering I have barely anything left, and she ended up only charging me for a brow shaping. She answered all of my questions and gave me some great tips, which I’m definitely going to look into. All in all, it was a great experience, and I will be back. Thank you!

Absolutely love this hot Pilates and yoga studio! The instructors, especially Suzanne, Christine, and Theresa, are incredible. They bring so much energy and motivation to every class while also being incredibly supportive of your individual needs and modifications. Each session leaves me feeling amazing—recharged, revitalized, and ready to take on the day. Can’t recommend this studio enough for anyone looking for an energizing and positive workout experience. I was referred by a friend and have since referred a bunch of others to this studio because of how insanely good these classes are. Nancy is an experience, talented lashes artist. Lashes are placed by Nancy carefully with clean sterile tools. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I look forward to getting my lashes done and would go no where else.

I have to be honest. Not a fan of some businesses today. It's like the old ways are lost starting with integrity. But 5th avenue paving is old school. They deserve an award. Not just for their work, but for their compassion and integrity. Right as we begin construction we were handed a devastating loss. The last thing I could focus on was our driveway and walkway and needed to put everything on hold. I'm not talking for a few days, I'm talking several months. And not once were we hassled. They would check in with us every now and then just to touch base and asked how we were doing. And when we were ready they came out and did a fantastic job. Then after that crazy winter we had, we had a problem with some of the Belgian block at the base of the driveway (easily could have been from one of the plows). However, there was no hassle. I called them on a Thursday. Sent them some pictures. I figured it's going to be a back and forth thing. Instead, later that day I got a phone call and said they will be there on Monday. They fixed everything perfectly. Haven't had a problem since.
I should also mention the pricing. I was getting estimates that were way out of line. Like into the absurd category. And everybody was telling me that costs had doubled and tripled and quadrupled and every excuse under the sun. They were so outrageous that I was actually going to go to a tool rental place and take out the driveway myself and just put down seed and gravel. Found out I could legally do that. I was not going to spend the cost of a nice car on a driveway. A landscaping friend of mine reminded me of this company. I didn't even know they were still around. My family and neighbors used them when I was a kid and that was quite a few decades ago. Since I lived over by the Babylon area and now live out east on the North shore, I didn't think they'd even come out here. They did. When I got there pricing, I couldn't believe it.
In this day and age it's nice to know you can find a good quality company for a reasonable price that backs up their work. To the fine folks of 5th avenue paving, including Tom, Bill, and Carlos, thank you. Strong recommend and referral.

Half the house lost power while I wired ethernet cable from the router to a room upstairs through the attic. I called Bianco and a very patient lady, Phoebe answered the phone. I was called back by Steve right away and he asked me for a couple of simple things, possibly to save me time and money. I liked immediately that he was upfront and transparent.He came the next day and went right to work. He wasn't trying to get me to sign on some dotted line. He went right to the panel and started diagnosing and poking and fixing, with not one word about the price. Steve just wanted to fix the problem by getting down to it. I kept asking him questions and he answered them all until I realized I was talking too much for him to focus on the task in front of him.The panel needled a part which he left the premise to go and get. He went outside and caulked silicon to make it waterproof. The power was back up. He charged me a very reasonable amount and I paid him by Zelle. He gave me an estimate for a possible future work and that was very reasonable as well.I love the fact that he wasn't a salesman but rather a true professional who cared that I had safe and functioning electrical system. His demeanor is topnotch fielding all of my questions patiently. I will definitely use Steve again for all my electrical needs.Services: Electrical panel repair

A friend recommended these guys when our lab's right ACL was having problems. So glad we've taken her there. Everyone is so friendly, patient and truly caring for the pets they look after. And their price for the surgery is very, very reasonable. They're almost an hour drive for us to get there, but it's so worth it. Can't recommend these guys enough.

They installed a new roof on my house in the Spring of 2023. They did an excellent job and the price was very competitive. They were very fast, neat and professional. I highly recommend their services. In addition, I had an animal rip up a few roofing shingles in the Spring of 2024 and again in the Spring of 2025. Both times they came back and made repairs and didn't charge me for the repairs, even though the damage had nothing to do with their work. I have nothing but good things to say about their services.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with George Ringer (Ringer Construction) for my home addition and kitchen renovation, and I truly cannot say enough good things about him and his team.
From the very beginning, it was clear how much George genuinely cared about the project and about getting every detail right. He was at my house every single day, making sure everything was running smoothly and that the work was being done to the highest standard. That level of dedication meant so much to me and gave me incredible peace of mind throughout the entire process.
Liz Ringer was also incredible throughout the entire process. She handled all of the administrative details, making sure I had everything I needed for the town, permits, and paperwork. She stayed ahead of inspections and scheduling so the project could keep moving without delays. Having someone so organized and responsive made the whole experience feel smooth and a lot less stressful.
The finished space is absolutely gorgeous, and the craftsmanship is outstanding. You can see the care and pride that went into every detail. George’s carpenters were also wonderful — incredibly skilled, kind, and so accommodating. They were always patient, respectful, and happy to make sure everything was exactly the way I envisioned.
Having people working in your home for such a big project can feel overwhelming (especially having a 2 year old, a dog and a cat) but George and his team made the experience genuinely enjoyable. By the end of the project, they truly felt like family.

I don't mind going to the dentist at all, now that I see Drs. Kerri and Joydi. They are both amazing at what they do. They are knowledgeable and capable, and both do cosmetic dentistry as well. The staff is always friendly which is a plus.
Came here at the recommendation of a friend. Rachel is great, does great designs and pays attention to detail. She also takes her time and really cleans up your nails/cuticles (unlike my previous nail salon). The price is a little higher than where I used to go, it's $60 for dip powder nails with a design. But the quality is very good so you get what you pay for. That price also includes a mini neck massage while waiting for my nails to dry. Will definitely return!
