This review is long overdue. I believe this business is under new ownership but last fall, Paul (the new owner) replaced our old skylight with a Velux solar powered window and his work by far exceeded our expectations. He is a perfectionist.The previous installation was uneven/crooked and Paul took the time to correct this and was able to make it look pretty much perfect! 10/10 recommend!
This is one of my favorite places to go to as a collector. I'm always looking for little knick knacks for my studio and there are endless options here. Great for sports fanatics, throwback toys, comic collectors, Funko, Star wars, Disney, whatever your into, there's something for you. Definitely worth checking out if you're at all interested.
My floor came out exactly as I envisioned. They were able to fix all damaged areas to be completely smooth. We got them sanded, bleached, and stained for a country white finish. The craftsmanship , attention to detail, and overall kindness from Palermo's men was top notch. Would highly recommend.
I called this company hoping someone could come take a look at our property to build a pool. Unfortunately, imperial pools does not work in our area, but Barbara was incredibly helpful. She answered the phone immediately, took all of my info and was quick to get back to be about not working in my area. She was kind enough to reccomend a reputable company in my area whom they have worked with before, and even told me I could contact her anytime if I needed help or had questions about anything!!! Modern Roots Acupuncture is completely amazing. I have Crohn's disease and had tried both traditional and non traditional methods of handling my symptoms. After working with Rory, my symptoms are100% manageable and I no longer have any bleeding. I'm not sure that statement sounds as impactful as it teally is. I have struggled on and off with my crohn's disease for almost 2 decades. And with crohn's disease comes a lot of anxiety which Rory also has managed very effectively. Add to that I also suffer from low back pain and shoulder pain. And again Rory has worked miracles. His technique with both acupuncture and cupping are fantastic. He goes over any new or old symptoms with me each week when I go in for a session, and unlike with many other treatment centers, I never feel rushed. At Modern Roots acupuncture, we are treated as part of their wellness family. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Paul and his man Albert did a fantastic job. We recently purchased a condo that was built in 1985. So one can imagine the condition of the interior walls. Nails popping, drywall seams showing you get the picture. Oh, and 23 foot high ceilings in the staircase and master bedroom kept this DIY'er from painting it. We had used Paul's pressure washing services in the past and were very satisfied with the results. I would highly recommend Paul's Painting and Power Washing.
We love Dragon Gate. We've been bringing our son here for about 5 years and he's grown both as a martial artist and a person.Scheduling is very flexible to fit any schedule. The students can still participate in other activities very easily while still coming 2-3 times a week.Shihan Mike and his team of Senseis do a great job of teaching discipline and skill without screaming at the kids. It's truly a great environment for kids to learn a skill, build confidence and grow.

I love this place - everyone is so nice and friendly - they are like family! When I go to get my hair cut and colored it is like a night out -fun! They are very accommodating to what once was my hectic schedule. I always come out feeling so good because my hair looks great! They give wonderful facials also - it feels like you are on vacation when you are in the room - so serene and rejuvenating! Great cleaners, had my daughters wedding gown cleaned and preserved. Called me to come and inspect the gown before they wrapped and boxed it. The gown was like it came right off the rack.Beautiful work as the gown was dirty on the base due to stepping on it.they brought the gown out and showed me the entire gown to make sure it met my approval before boxing it up. Not 1 box.. but 3 boxes its put into to preserve it. They were so gracious and caring in making sure that their customers are happy. I needed two new exterior air conditioning condensers along with two new interior furnace coils for my home. I decided I wanted to go with Rheem and checked their website to find a PRO installer. I called Stamina Heating & Cooling since they were nearby and met with the owner Jack. I really liked the owner because he was not pushy and he spoke to me like we were equals, even though, I only had basic knowledge on what I wanted. Well I am very happy with Stamina Heating & Cooling, since every aspect of the install went well. Jack came down with his 5 guy crew of both knowledgeable and friendly guys and they knocked out the whole job in just 1 day and in about 6 hours. This included installing 1 of the inside coils in my attic mounted vertical furnace, where there really is no flooring. They did a very neat job and all has worked perfectly since the install. I found Jack and Stamina Heating & Cooling very easy to work with and he was extremely fair and reasonable with the costs. Although I have hired many contractors before for my home, this is one of the only ones that I have added to my cellphone contacts and would be very confident to recommend to my family and close friends.
Louis J. D'atena rescued us when another contractor couldn't get the job done. Within in the first five minutes Louis was in our crawl space figuring out what no one else could. Not only this but Louis' entire team of workers are each masters in their own right. Louis was honest with us every step of the way, helped us get what others needed weeks to do - done in a matter of days, and he stands behind his work. Whenever something goes wrong, which owning house, happens more than it should Louis is always there to help. We highly recommend Louis J. Had an excellent time in the class. The instructors were knowledgeable and made the learning experience fun and challenging. The low speed maneuvers were fun to learn and practice. I'm looking forward to signing up for the advanced course next.
Service was on time. Only problem was the truck malfunctione which made it over pour 24 gallons. Which made me have to pay a extra $120. Not happy with that but I understand mistakes happen.

I love this place! Brazilian blowout for $99. Such nice people and such a warm friendly atmosphere. Found them on Groupon but will continue to go back. Highly recommend!
The owner was very nice and upfront about costs and fees. Only complaint is they charged a 4% fee for paying with credit card. And they overcharge for the accessories. 24.99 for pack of rico 2.5 reeds is too expensive.

I miss you guys so much! I had the best pregnancy and birth experiences with Dr Kasten and staff. After being a patient for many years I was so sad to move out of state. I had another baby a few years ago here in NC and the care wasn't the same at all! Hope to be back in NY someday and see you all again!
I’m visiting from out of town and stopped here on a friend’s recommendation. Got a pedicure and gel manicure and both look great! It’s a bit pricier than what I would normally pay, but it’s worth it. Will definitely stop by again if I find myself back on LI.
