Called them up and scheduled quick and easy. Once they arrived, they walked us through the process and got straight to it. Both Chris were extremely professional and kind. I explained that I had no heat and thought the thermostat was not working right. He said he could come to my home in Levittown within 30 to 60 minutes, and he arrived promptly. “My old fuel oil company informed they were losing down at the end of November. I did some research and read that some of the big name suppliers had some negative reviews. I then came across Family Fuel and Heating i called and scheduled an appointment for them to come and inspect my system. I remembered i had an issue with one of the rooms not getting heat last winter. Rob the owner came over to do the inspection, I told him about the problem. He quickly diagnosed it, went to his service truck and replaced the needed parts and the problem was solved. He charged me what I feel was a fair price. “This winter our furnace stopped working and was releasing unsafe natural gas while trying to run, so we shut the heating system down and spent the night without heat. My husband called Unified Heating & Air Conditioning the next morning, and they arrived within the hour in Meadow. Our large outdoor furnace has needed service again and again, and past repairs from another local company were expensive, stressful, and never seemed to last long. Joseph came out that morning and quickly found the furnace problem that had been overlooked for years. He was polite and respectful to me, my kids, and our dog, and he took time to explain the repair in simple terms. He even showed me pictures of the furnace parts and what was causing the gas and heating issue, which made me feel much more confident about the work being done. He also checked over the rest of the unit to make sure it was running safely and efficiently. The furnace repair cost was much lower than what we had been paying for basic service calls before, and this time the issue was actually fixed the right way.
