“I am very grateful for Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat for their deepest compassion on the day of my father’s burial. Regretfully, I did not use their services for the wake, only because it was done in Queens, NY to make it more accessible to family members. The day of the burial which was here in Warwick, I realized we did not have a grave marker for the cemetery. I called up and spoke to Roger, and within the hour they had made a grave marker with my father’s name, date of birth and passing. Upon arrival, I was greeted with the marker, without charge, while everyone expressed their condolences. On one of the hardest days of my life, Roger and staff made my heart feel whole. It’s amazing to see what a kind gesture can do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for your love, empathy and support. Very grateful”
