“Pete Meringolo and his team did a good job restoring my garage and office space after a burst pipe. Pete arrived promptly, was clear about the process with insurance and mold assessment, we began drying within 5 days after the burst pipe - mainly because insurance took time to assign an adjuster. His team did a clean demolition job, dried it thoroughly and performed mold remediation.<br>The mold scrubbing and disinfection was done well, and when the inspection showed still elevated levels, they diligently re-cleaned the area until it passed the inspection.<br>The reason it's 4 out of 5 stars is because they missed a significant moisture pocket that I discovered myself using my own moisture meter. Had this remained undiscovered, it would have turned the wood into rot over time.<br>Another reason for 4 stars was not starting immediately after water discovery - Pete said they weren't paid by insurances before and he needed an adjuster to confirm they're covering it before he could start. In my view, this was a straightforward case and mitigation could start right away without waiting for insurance.<br>Overall, I recommend Pete and his team, as they do thorough quality work, but it's the homeowner's responsibility to monitor it and make sure nothing has been missed.”
