I offered to reschedule but the staff was kind enough to let me have an appointment even though they weren’t expecting me. “I have been wearing glasses since I’m 3 years old, now 36. I have poor eyesight, -10.5 in each eye, a recipe for very, thick, awful looking lens. I had been referred to The Optical Shop recently, and spent quite a bit of time looking at frames with the dynamic mother daughter duo, placing an order for a pair of frames atypical from my usual style. About a week later they were ready, and WOW. I was floored. The lens looked, dare I say, normal?! Just a regular pair of gorgeous glasses.
