I want to especially shout out Liudmila - she is an amazing pelvic floor physical therapist. She is warm, patient, and super knowledgeable. She is great at identifying not only the imbalances in the area of your pain, but also the bigger imbalances happening in your entire body and movement patterns that are contributing to your pain. I am a more complex case, and she took me on with enthusiasm, curiosity, and joy.

From the very start, the service was excellent - the manager helped me choose the best package for my needs and even offered me a complimentary introductory class.
All the instructors are fantastic, especially Maile, with whom I had a private session. She was incredibly attentive and gave me valuable corrections to my form and movement that will help refine my Pilates practice going forward.
I also picked up a few pairs of their adorable Pilates socks, which I’ll cherish when I'm back in London.

The studio is clean and filled with Gratz equipment (reformers, Cadillac, chairs, barrels, guillotine, etc). Katie was very friendly/welcoming and helped arrange my first session at the studio. She connected me with Camilo - whose energy, creative programming and extensive knowledge of the repertoire makes me excited to come week after week. Prior to meeting Camilo I got to the point with Pilates where it wasn’t very exciting for me, but taking classes at Paradigm has refreshed my perspective and has made me fall in love with Pilates again. 80 5th Ave #1003, New York“When I came to Rebecca I was unable to work as a nurse, go out to eat (restaurant chairs-ouch), or really function due to severe back pain and scoliosis.
I had done PT for MONTHS, which made things worse instead of better. I even saw 2 of the ‘best’ PTs in the city who were referred to me by my concierge doctor.
When I came to Rebecca, I was anxious and desperate-but she was patient and responsive to what caused pain. Through trial and error, she helped me find the few exercises that could help strengthen my body and we began with those. Slowly I progressed, and the pain dissipated. I couldn’t believe it! Instead of generic exercises prescribed by PT (bird dogs-you can’t do a bird dog correctly without core strength!!!!), she helped build my body up from feet to pelvis to core to shoulders to head!
Fast forward 2 months and I cannot believe what we have accomplished. I’m so strong and have developed routines I can do independently, which she encourages. I’m doing things I’ve never been able to do! Not to mention there’s a great side effect of looking physically fit too. I don’t know what I would’ve done without Rebecca.
Long story short, Pilates with Rebecca is the answer. Good luck to all the other back pain sufferers out there-you CAN get better!“

My therapist is Rik Misiura , a former competitive triathlete who once led one of New York’s largest physical therapy organizations, treating athletes, dancers, and movie stars alike. These days, he works more exclusively, bringing his mastery to clients who are serious about getting better.
Rik brings an incredible range of approaches to each session, from Pilates-based movement, resistance training, and soft tissue release to breathwork and sound therapy. Every session is different because he actually listens to what your body needs that day. Somehow, he always gets it exactly right.
He also has a few secret techniques - a fusion of Eastern and Western methods - that will quite literally knock your socks off. You’ll walk in stiff or hurting, and leave grounded, realigned, painless and feeling great.
There’s something amazing about the breathwork he incorporates too, subtle but powerful, often unlocking deeper patterns in the nervous system. And at the end of each session, he offers optional sound healing: a moment of quiet integration that feels like a full reset.

Instead of doing shake and bake exercises they looked at where the pain was coming from which was my hip that was not moving, and my knee was not tracking correctly.
