“Love Luxxor! A large group of us essentially took over the salon a couple weekends ago to get our hair and makeup done for a large “fantasy black-tie” NYC wedding. The salon was extremely accommodating and everyone was so nice! I didn’t get my makeup done, but those who did looked gorgeous! Ricky did my hair and he was wonderful and fun to chat with while sipping a complimentary mimosa :). He wasn’t alerted that I had clip-in extensions I wanted to use for my hairstyle, which take more time than he had allotted, but he made time for me and I teared up when he showed me the result (see photo)! I don’t live in NYC, but I will definitely go back if I ever need hair or makeup done there in the future. Thank you so much to the salon and especially my new bestie, Ricky!“

“I have been seeing Antonio for over a decade and I won’t let anyone else cut my hair. I’m consistently happy with the results, and this is from a gal with some significant curl trauma from my youth. I have long to mid-length (when dry) curls and he is great about helping me keep the length, but also get the lift I need so I’m not wearing a triangle on my hair, or sporting what I call “the poodle mullet”(If you know, you know). He does great color, too, choosing color for me that warms my skin. I travel an hour and 1/2 to see him in LA usually, but I sometimes see him in his light-filled space in NYC, too. I can’t recommend him highly enough.“

“I recently went to Leonardo to go strawberry blonde, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! I had about two inches of roots and some old red color in the rest, so the process took around 7 hours - fortunately Leonardo is an absolute angel and talked me through the whole process to put me at ease, and he even provided a lovely tea blend while we waited! “Sergio did an excellent job with my haircut! Booking the appointment online was quick and easy, and when I arrived at his apartment, I was greeted by his lovely dog. After showing me several of his previous styles I could tell he works really well with medium-length hair like mine - something many barbers struggle with as they often cut too short. At the end of the session, he even recommended and provided a few products to help maintain my look (like a hairspray and a blow dryer diffuser). Highly recommend, I'll definitely be coming back!“

The shop had a welcoming, retro vibe with vintage chairs and classic rock playing in the background. It was spotlessly clean, which gave me confidence in their attention to detail. I opted for a haircut and beard trim, and both services were excellent. My barber, Jake, was friendly and professional, taking the time to understand exactly what I wanted. His attention to detail and expertise were evident in the final result.

The haircut was flawless, with a perfect blend on the sides and the right length on top. The beard trim was sharp and complemented my features well. I especially enjoyed the complimentary hot towel treatment, which left me feeling refreshed.
