I live in Connecticut. I was visiting family in New York when I stopped in for a haircut and beard trim. The last time I went to a barber in Connecticut was November of 2000. I usually buzz cut my own hair or I have my brother do it for me. I had a bad experience at the last barber when I got a beard trim, I developed a serious skin rash that lasted for months so I swore off going to a barber. A lot have changed since my last barber and I didn't book an appointment but I saw Myles and asked if i could get a haircut and he said he had another client after the one he was working on but he can fit me in. The waiting area was extremely clean and modern. I used the bathroom while I was waiting and it was very clean and well supplied. Music played over the speakers and there were activities for kids and adults with TV screens and a Playstation 5. I didn't asked to play any video games but I probably would if I got the chance.
My turn on the chair, I told Myles what I wanted. He knew exactly what I told him. He, and the rest of his workers, are young men but they had experience well beyond their age. The professionalism and their courtesy to their craft and clients is quite admirable. My haircut and my beard trim was perfect. The tools they used was cleaned and I didn't have to worry about cross contamination. I did not develop a skin rash so all my worries were thrown out. I cannot travel from Connecticut to Holbrook, New York for another cut but people of Long Island are lucky to have this establishment. To be honest, as long as I am living in CT, I will go back to buzzing my own hair but I promise myself this, on my next trip to see family, I will stop at MC Studios whether it's Myles or the other gentleman.

Shout out to the Stone Escapes team for our pool upgrade. They start and do not stop until the work is completed. I decided to reach out to inquire a quote for my roof, he was great with communication and very fairly priced. Peter and his crew did an excellent job on my roof. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally. They showed up on time and completed my 1600 sq roof in one day, communicated clearly throughout the entire process, and made sure I was informed about what was being done. The quality of their work really stands out, everything was done carefully, clean and efficiently, and the finished roof looks great. I will definitely be using Peter for work on future projects and will be recommending him to others!
From what started as the customary collection of estimates/quotes from different companies for a remodel of an already finished area in dire need of gut and modernization, Maddy and the team were a pleasure to work with. From day one of meeting, Maddy was super personable, ran through the list of required work and made great suggestions and changes. What started as a seemingly straightforward job uncovered a host of unfortunate prior unknowns (joy of an older property) and Maddy and the crew were super descriptive, communicative, timely, and worked change orders with me fully, in order to repair, rectify, and make safe, numerous items discovered during initial phases, without exorbitant costs. Despite the extended project, the crew was always on time, cleaned up after every day and in between works, were super pleasant and nice guys, and the result is a great finish and outcome.

The check in on the iPad was nice and easy and the place is decorated very nice. Definitely like Lemon Tree’s newer rebrand here. They also had a deal so I was able to get a cheap haircut that was less than $15 including the tip.

I just moved in the area and I don’t think I have ever had my hair cut this fast. If you’re in a rush like myself and need to freshen up before going somewhere, Alex has you covered. Really cool dude, he talks with you about anything. It took him not even 15 minutes to cut my hair and it came out just like any barber I had that would typically take an hour and a half. 10/10 definitely coming back.
Listen, this place is the most professional barber shop in the Long Island area. Every one that works here is great at making you look better and feel better with a good clean cut. Amir my friend does an amazing job and is a master at his craft, i highly recommend stopping in and getting a fresh cut ASAP. Sucks that I'm moving and wont be able to stop in as much but you can guarantee where i will be stopping when i’m back in NY. Best of luck guys and looking forward to my next visit already.

Sunshine Nails in Holbrook has completely transformed the salon with their newly renovated space, and it looks absolutely beautiful. The entire place now has such a relaxing Zen feel the moment you walk in. The new pedicure chairs are beyond luxurious — sleek, modern, full of fancy controls, and they even recline for extra comfort. It honestly feels more like a spa experience now.
One thing that has always impressed me is how well staffed they are. Even when the place is jammin, they keep things moving and still make you feel welcomed and taken care of. Everyone is always polite, friendly, and professional.
Their nail color selection is HUGE with so many gorgeous choices, whether you like classic neutrals, trendy colors, or something fun and bold. Pricing has always been very fair for the quality and experience you receive.

Dr. Chelsea was amazing! Christina her assistant was also a blessing to be with after our horrible treatment at another local dentist. My daughter felt safe and at home with them immediately.
