“Our project was a big one. We were planning to finish about 1,300 square feet of our basement, adding a full bath, wet bar, gym area, and opening up a large wall on our main floor that would allow for a smoother flow and access to the new basement/lower level.We did our due-diligence in vetting several reputable contractors and construction companies. After a few meetings with Nick, we opted to use DeRisio Construction for our project. It was easy to tell that Nick knew all that would be involved in completing our project. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to building structures, framing, wood-working, and he was honest with us if we had a request that was just physically not possible.Our vision was a beautiful 2nd floor of living space. Nick and his team gave us just that.Before the job even started, Nick had a detailed plan and schedule for the project. Each day and week of progress was listed out. It was nice to see it so well-organized, and understand what would be completed by the end of each week. Also listed was a budget for certain parts of the project (bathroom, flooring, bar area, etc)—which helped us to keep costs in-line, and there were no surprises when it came to payment.Nick was on-site each morning to say hello and give us any updates on what would be happening that day, alert us of any issues or potential changes to the plan—overall, there were ZERO major changes from the original project plan—that is pretty amazing to say with such a large renovation!DeRisio had a consistent team of 3-4 craftsmen that would be on-site, working hard, cleaning up daily, and keeping any and all dust from entering our main floor area The guys were all extremely friendly and polite—they became a part of the family a few months! Our dog misses them now that the project is done!The quality of work that was done was top-notch. None of the framing, insulation, drywall, electrical, or plumbing was completed taking any short-cuts. “These guys may be old but they're efficient, experienced, fast and fairly priced. In just a short time they replaced two shut off valves, a laundry basin with trap and a double trap under the kitchen sink. With parts and labor the job came at just over $500. We also had an ongoing issue with an intake line for the shower in our upstairs bathroom they came out to repair in about 15 min (we were charged separately for that job but still a good price). I'm throughly impressed and amazed at the work these guys did. We want to replace toilets soon and will likely use these guys again.“

They worked from the time they arrived till 4pm. Lunch hour or rest was not part of their day. Not much talking going on between them, only work. “They were not able to help with the problem since I live in a mobile home and they don't service mobile homes. BUT, they were able to provide me contact information to 3 companies that do service mobile homes which led me to getting my leaky pipe fixed.After at least 10 calls to other plumbing and handyman services Miller Plumbing was the only one that provided any help.“
