“Had to call early this morning for service for my central air conditioning. To tell you the truth, due to the heat wave that is on its way, I figured it might be a long wait. So I called and left a message and within 1/2 hour Dominick called me back. He said that he would have someone at my place in about an hour. He was as good as his word, and the service man came and took care of everything. My main problem was downstairs was not cooling as it should be, and it seemed to be struggling. A part needed to be replaced, and some Freon added. I forget the name of my service man, but I want to mention how polite, efficient and understanding he was. He really went above and beyond , but actually that has always been the way anytime I call for service and of course, several years ago when they installed my entire HVAC system. Couldn’t be more pleased. So basically, my primary adjectives for describing Absolute HVAC servicing are: Friendly, polite, efficient, knowledgeable, and timely!“

“We have been Sweezy’s customers for almost 30 years. We have been getting our oil and furnace serviced in that time. Our sons needed a new central air conditioning system so we gave Sweezy’s a call. I spoke with Michael McBride. Michael came out and assessed the old system and recommended the replacement system we would need. The price was very good and we were very happy because it was being backed by a company we’ve known and trusted for years. Pedro and his team came out to install the new system on one of the hottest days of the summer. They were neat and worked very fast, gone in about 4/5 hours. The system is working on perfectly and keeping the house like an icebox. We’re very happy with Sweezy’s and highly recommend.“

“My hot water heater sprung a leak on the afternoon of July 3, meaning that I was not going to have a repairman come until Monday. At 8 am Monday morning I called a firm with whom I have transacted in the past with excellent results, Sampson Plumbing and Heating. Their two plumbers were here by noon. Not only did they fix my water heater, but they repaired another half dozen problems with my plumbing that I had put off for the last year. Their work was fabulous, everything installed as I asked for, everything worked perfectly. Nice fellows with excellent personalities, I really felt that they were prioritizing my interests while they were here. The were neat, creative with their solutions, and the cleaned up after themselves when finished. I could not be happier about the work performed by Sampson Plumbing and Heating, especially that their prices were very reasonable as well. If you need a plumber in the Stony Brook area, I recommend Sampson Plumbing and Heating as your first call, they always have exceeded my expectations.

Updated June 24, 2026. Tom came by to service my pool heater. Was very determined to find out what the error message was. Was able to tell me what needed to be done and why it needs to be done. Thank you, Tom. Great job.

Updated May 19, 2026, My AC Unit wasn't blowing cold air. I contacted Airborne and within a few hours, Travis arrived and solved the problem! Great Job and THANK YOU!
