Recently had my roof done by MCAS and I’m very pleased with their work. First time working with them, but I was aware of my neighbors getting roof replacements with MCAS in the past. They provided me with excellent service from start to finish and were done with the whole job in only 1 day!
My new roof looks amazing!! They cleaned everything outside both after completion and came back the morning after to clean further. My garage was a mess with the amount of debris from the job, but they weren't aware and didn't have access inside of the garage.

Andy didn’t do a home inspection for me. I asked him to, and when he got there, he couldn’t do the inspection because of an issue beyond our control (the seller hadn’t properly disclosed some important items). Andy wouldn’t take my money, even when I offered. I was very impressed by his professionalism during a pretty tough time for us.
Vinny is an artist. His haircuts are thoughtful full of nuanced technique. He takes the direction of growth into account and delivers a great look time after time. He is also an all around great guy. I look forward to my visits. Honestly their prices are too low and Vinny belongs in Hollywood being barber to the stars but till that happens Croton is very fortunate to have Sonny Abbotts.
The project that the team did for us in Croton is without a doubt the best investment for our property we have done in many years. We have a steep slope which was covered with invasive. Our way of dealing with it was to cut it down once or twice a year, that didn’t work. The team took a couple of days to clear the area and created a new path down the hill. A few weeks later they were back planting thousands of natives of many sorts.
Now, we can hardly wait for spring to arrive so we can see the slope come to life. And this project is not yet done. My hope it that we can persuade more Crotonites to follow in our footsteps which will help our new natives continue to thrive.

We worked with Nick and his team on the complete electrical restoration of our home and cannot offer higher praise or recommendation, the project encompassed all phases of a rebuild due to having had a large tree fall on our home. Nick was introduced to us by our builder and was there through all phases of the renovation, his team is thorough and professional treating my home as if it was theirs, which is really what you want when selecting trades people who are also craftsmen at their profession. Our kitchen was gutted and completely redone by Estate Cabinetry and Matra Building Corp. The project went so smoothly. The whole process was organized and was completed on time and on budget. It was such a pleasure working with Rocco. He had wonderful ideas for the project but was also a great listener when I had design ideas of my own. The result is beautiful. I could not be happier! Lessons at Bennett Conservatory have helped my children continue to learn and improve. Although they play the same instrument, their teacher recognizes their differences and adapts the lessons to meet each of their learning styles. Great school!

Similar story to others. I had a dead desktop. Needed to pull documents from the hard drive and transfer to a portable hard drive. The owner was technically astute, sympathetic to my needs and timeframe and reasonable in cost. Definitely recommend this business.

We have been using Pete for over ten years. He installed ceiling fans in my home, he installed our whole house generator a few years ago. And he recently helped us when our new stove was delivered and the installation required us to update our electrical outlets. Pete and his team are professional and clean up after themselves. Pete is responsive and comes when he says he will and is honest if he is backlogged. I have and will continue to recommend him to family and friends.
If I could rate MAC Roofing and Construction higher than 5 stars, I would. The job they did reroofing my large Barn and Chicken House in October of 2024 was completed in one day. I was amazed! Matthew’s crew worked from 7:15 in the morning and finished by 4 PM. It included tearing the asphalt shingles, underlayment, and 4 or 5 4’x8’ plywood panels that were infected with mildew. The roofing process was amazing to watch. Three roofers worked like an atomic clock in terms of precision. These men are true professionals. Everything is straight and true on both buildings, including the top of a cupola on top of the barn, the painted sides of which they also cleaned so that it looks like new.
Matthew came to my home to do an estimate, and was far more thorough than his two competitors. He pointed out problems they hadn’t seen and would probably charged extra to remediate. His estimate was detailed and came within 24 hours, with a price tag that was in the middle of the other two. I also felt, because of his thoroughness, candor, and politely professional style of communication, that I could trust him. Throughout the process he was a pleasure to work with.
Upon completion they completely cleaned up. Not a scrap of asphalt was anywhere to be found on the ground. I told Matthew that I would be happy to give a review, but only after waiting a few months to see how things looked after snow, ice and rain had some time to challenge his work. After a stormy Winter, my barn and chicken house are completely dry, with no signs of leaks, even with the high winds we have had in February.
Bottom line, all I can say regarding MAC roofing is Bravo! And thank you.

Dr. Eldridge really cares about the animals. I've been to many vets and they all price gouge to the point where owners are forced to make decisions based on finances. To me those vets should not be in business. Yes, all great vets should make a great living, the money and time spent to become a veterinarian warrant that, but neither side should take advantage of the other. Be honest, pay great vets (like Dr. Eldridge) what they deserve, w/o manipulation, and any vets that read this should follow Dr. Eldridge's lead. Thank you Dr. Eldridge for having a heart and doing all that you do!

I have been with Salon M for more years than I can say and have been a client of Kierstin for last several years. She is the most professional, passionate and personable rising stylist! I enjoy her love for her profession, and she shows genuine care for her clients. Going to an appointment you know your hair and/or makeup is in the best of hands and you get to catch up with a lovely friend. I’m sure Kierstin has many more years of amazing accomplishments ahead of her. If you are looking for a new stylist, I highly recommend! She’s young and hip with an old soul!

If you’re trying to find a good builder/contractor - you’ve found them!!! LNI has far exceeded our expectations in every way. Our project included a whole house gut renovation and ~900sqft addition.
LNI walked into our nightmare (a former contractor left us with a MESS) and made our DREAM home a reality. After going through the bidding process and interviewing several builders, LNI was the obvious choice. They weren’t the most or the least expensive, they were fair with innovative ideas. They stayed on budget through the project and got creative to stay within that budget when the unexpected occurred.
Partners, Greg & Pat, and their entire crew were easy to work with, honest, creative and reliable. They handled everything, worked well with the town and our architect. Greg has an eye for design which was super valuable to us … we had a unique vision for our home and chose not to hire an interior designer. Pat is incredibly hands on and knows how to build, fix or retrofit…pretty much anything. Their crew worked FAST. They were always clean, respectful, reliable and happy. Nothing we asked of them was ever too much.
We added things along the way our architect didn’t account for, and LNI took them in stride and exceeded our expectations!! Our home is STUNNING!!! We truly couldn’t recommend them more! THANK YOU LNI! We love and appreciate you all!

My kids usually hate getting their hair cut but at Irma’s they were so satisfied. Everyone who worked there was lovely. The price couldn’t be beat. The salon was clean. We didn’t need to wait. Overall it was a great experience. We will be back. You should go too!

The entire team at RD Flooring did such a wonderful job removing layers and layers of old tile and installing new white oak wood floors in my kitchen. The goal was to make the new floors blend with the existing oak floors that were original to the 1940's home and they did that in such a competent and beautiful way. I am so pleased with their work and work ethic. I've used them before to refinish wood floors, install vinyl floors and ceramic tile, and I will definitely be using them again!
Best pedicure I've ever had hands down. Of course I only started getting them about 5-years ago but still...really good. Chelsea Nail & Spa is clean, modern, spacious...did I mention clean? We had wonderful pedicures, foot massages and manicures from Amy and Maria. We'll be back on the reg. How could we not?
