Not only did they get my bdog to obey but theybtaught us methods that we can use to continue her training. They were ver accessible and told us to feel free to contact them at any time if we have any questions at all. My recommendation, if you are considering hiring a trainer, is to use them Both you and your dog will be happy!“

124 Nassau St, New York“We had such a wonderful experience at this dog daycare! The staff is incredibly friendly, caring, and welcoming. It's obvious how much they love and care for every dog, but what really impressed us was how kind they were to our child. Our little one absolutely loves dogs, and the team took the time to interact, answer questions, and make the visit so special. They never made us feel rushed and genuinely created a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. It's rare to find people who care so much about both the animals and the people who visit. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a daycare where dogs are treated with love and families feel truly welcome.
Thank you for making our day so memorable!“

She is also a very good educator and I think all pet parents would benefit from all her helpful advice and care. The staff, as usual, were kind and friendly. I was quite pleased with the appointment. The experience made me want to come back and have Dr Ball keep taking care of Mochi to provide the best quality of life for the cat. Thank you!“

I have a small rescue that is anxious and I've noticed such a positive difference since starting to send her to CityTails. She loves the team so much and can't wait to spend the day with her CityTails family.“

The employees there love dogs and are very flexible and friendly - I’ve been a few minutes late to pick up a few times and everyone is kind about it. They are reliable - open even during snow storms!! And have long hours to accommodate work schedules. The groomers also do a great job.“

She found me struggling to walk Moses (a new pit doggo i'm fostering) and immediately took us in, gave him a harness (he chewed through his last one from his last foster home) and treats. Then, she taught me how to hold him, walk him, and the first steps of training him. Before I met Elizabeth, Moses was dragging me around and I had lower back pain just from the 16 hours I've had him for. Now, (1 day later) I felt comfortable walking him from south williamsburg to Radio Bakery in Greenpoint. I would recommend everyone, especially new dog owners, to go to The Dog Institute. I was so overwhelmed by Moses and now I can comfortable take him out and know that I'm teaching him the right habits, making it easier for him to find his forever home.“

You can tell within seconds of meeting her that she genuinely loves what she does and will do whatever is in the best interests of the animal. This was our first time bringing our cat to a groomer, and she was super helpful in answering all of our questions. He looks (and smells!) great, and we will certainly return in the future!“

169 Starr St, Brooklyn“Writing this review for both myself and Lucca ( my fur child), we cannot thank Joseph with K9 Starr training enough. He not only brings a great vast understanding of dog's mindset, behavior, and progression, Joseph is patient, honest and very eager to solve any issues you bring him regarding your four-legged friend.
Lucca, my fur pal, is 6yr old 70 lbs rescue presented with severe reactivity and obedience issues that grew worse and worse with his age. Before training with Joseph, Lucca and I's walks would be bring us both a lot of anxiety not knowing if Lucca would completely loose his mind, barking with force and pulling in any dog's direction. The breaking point occurred in line at a coffee shop. Lucca saw a fellow dog in line and freaked out and in the process of reeling him back in/ calming him down - I broke my finger - then needing surgery.
Joseph broke down the training basics and obedience skills not only instructing and training Lucca, but myself , as a dog owner as well. With constant practice and communication with Joseph over our 3 training sessions, Lucca has 180 'ed his behavior. His obedience is at a level I honestly never thought I would ever reach with Lucca. Lucca and I walks have become more enjoyable and less stressful for the both of us. We have frequented the same coffee shop where the finger incident occurred- and Lucca is able to sit my side while I drink a large cup of coffee- totally calm and unreactive towards dog and people!! -Truly amazing!
As dog parents- of course we love our fur children unconditionally, but with this training and unlocked new Happier relationship with Lucca - we are able to enjoy our company together so much more as owner and best fur pal.
If you have a dog, that has any issue, I hope this review further encourages you to reach out to K9 Starr dog training.
- Nat & Lucca“

The day care is great for him to socialize and he is exhausted when he comes home from all the playing . Pupculture sends me pics and videos of him through the course of his time there and clearly he is having fun . He is also groomed there and Fatima is the best . He always comes home even more handsome than when I left him .“

He loves Gianna and Ashley so much that in the mornings when I’m leaving the home and getting him into the car, he knows where he is going. Gianna shows so much love to Cooper and I’m sure that she is like that with all of the Dogs that she works with. In the mornings, when Cooper sees Ashley he goes crazy, wagging his tail and jumping. He is always happy to see her. That tells me that they show love and really care about all the dogs that they are responsible for throughout the day.
Thank you Gianna, Ashley, and the staff at biscuits and bath for what you do for Cooper and all the other dogs in your care. You are GREAT.“

175 Knickerbocker Ave, Brooklyn“It was my first time at What’s Up Dog leaving my dogs for boarding while I give birth. I have been to many daycares and have never experienced such kindness and love from a daycare like What’s Up Dog. The staff is amazing and super understanding and accommodating! The boys were so happy and thrived, they sent us updates and were always on top of everything. I couldn’t imagine going into labor without the staff’s support and help. Honestly the best experience I’ve ever had from a daycare and they truly care and it shows. They also sent the boys home with bags of treats which was the sweetest thing ever! Shoutout to Kendall for just being the best and kindest person ever?“

181 E 111th St, New York“We recently had our dog Holly stay at Instinct for their Board and training camp package. I am in the world of animal rescue. I run a shelter and have been rescuing dogs for close to 20 years. Instinct has always had a great reputation, and many of our adopters, love them. So when my regular sitter was going to be away at the same time as we were away- I knew we needed reliable professional, certified trainers to care for our very special girl, Holly. She has a lot of fear- based aggression with unfamiliar people. When we took her for her trial day, and met Cassie and Rebecca, I knew we made the right choice. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable about the type of care that Holly required. We felt extremely comfortable leaving Holly in their care for the ten days we were out of the country. We received daily updates, photos, and a progress report on how Holly was doing. We highly recommend Instinct for your training needs. We are happy to continue Hollys training with them, and look forward to seeing her make even more progress.“

249-36 Horace Harding Expy, Little Neck“Honestly, this place is lovely. I have been to many vets over the years and I have never felt as safe as I do here. They do not shame- my cat is overweight and they remained focused on a plan, not on making me feel like a bad pet parent. Whats even crazier is that my cats do not fear the carrier. While they will cry in the car once they are in the vet office they are calm. They come home relaxed. I think about all the trauma my other cats had at previous vets and it honestly breaks my heart knowing this was an option the whole time. VCG are profoundly lovely and caring people.“

“Had to leave a review for KingSpat NYC! This was my baby Rossie's very first grooming, and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. She came out looking amazing and smelling like a $1,000 bill! 😍✨
Omg Josh was caring, professional, and made sure me and Rossie felt comfortable throughout the whole experience. You can tell they truly love what they do.
If you're looking for a place you can trust with your fur baby, this is the spot, y'all — 100% recommended! 🐾❤“
