The training methods are clear and easy to understand, leading to positive results with their dogs.
The training has been described as empowering for owners, giving them the tools and confidence to train their dogs successfully. For example, a 6-month-old bernedoodle learned many commands and tricks, and clients appreciate the support in continuing training at home.
Top Dog Training is highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their dog's behavior and strengthen their bond, as seen with a dachshund who learned numerous commands in just weeks.
Jay was great with our 15 month old female mix breed (American Pit, Australian cattle, Labrador) Nelly. He taught the kids and I how to be consistent with commands and made some great recommendations for harnesses and training treats. I am so much more comfortable walking Nelly. I’m not worried she’s going to launch at a person or dog walking past us! She responds to multiple commands and I really feel like she’s better communicating to us what she wants/ needs. Thanks Jay!!!
Jay has been an amazing trainer for our Otto and taught him and us so much during our lessons. In less than 2 months we already see so much positive change. He came to our house and tailored the training to exactly what we asked for. It was also clear that he was adapting his advice to our specific dog and not just working off of a pre-determined curriculum. We definitely recommend Top Dog Training to anyone looking for an in-home trainer!
We recently used Top Dog to train our 3 month old Cavapoo. They were absolutely great! Not only did they get my bdog to obey but theybtaught us methods that we can use to continue her training. They were ver accessible and told us to feel free to contact them at any time if we have any questions at all. My recommendation, if you are considering hiring a trainer, is to use them Both you and your dog will be happy!
