“Angel did an AMAZING job on my 9 year old wooly Siberian Husky. He looks gorgeous! His coat is soft, glossy and clean, he is perfectly trimmed and he came back with an adorable giant bow. Most importantly, he is HAPPY. He was rescued from an abusive home and is usually very shy and cautious around people he does not know. However, within minutes of meeting Angel, he was kissing her and he was clearly very comfortable with her because he pranced out of the mobile grooming van with his tail wagging. On a personal note, Angel is a pleasure to work with - she was very responsive regarding scheduling and the timing of her arrival, and stayed in touch with me during the grooming so that I knew my dog was doing well. The Ruff Life is a wonderful company and I am so glad I found Angel. She is patient, kind and gentle and I can’t imagine entrusting my dogs to anyone else!“

So be sure to book her far in advance. She always leaves our miniature goldendoodle looking and smelling beautiful. It can be very stressful leaving your pet in someone else's hands but we have always had a great experience at this location. We drive almost a half an hour to come here and I am sure we pass many other groomers on the way. It is well worth the trip. Highly recommended.“

“Yoon’s grooming is amazing! My 12 year old girl has anxiety and is not the easiest to groom. The owner was very professional, quick and reasonably priced. She was able to meet our request and sent us photo after the grooming session. We recently moved and were in search for a new groomer. Glad we found this place and we plan on being a regular! “Love this place. I have GSD which I understand is not easiest dog breed. Other groomers said they couldn’t handle him or would charge so much to do him. They charge such a reasonable amount and they say he is no problem at all to groom. He is also dog aggressive but he walks right in there and doesn’t even bark at the other dogs which is probably because all the other dogs are calm and therefore makes him calm. So glad I found this place. If you are told you have a “problem” dog please check this place out they are amazing. Also first time I dropped him off I told the owner others groomers said they have to muzzle for the dryer the owner said we will see about that. In my mind I was like good luck . Turns out they don’t need the muzzle. Anyway this place is great and very reasonably priced! Thanks for taking such great care of Kodi! Customer for life“

“I highly recommend Santiago! I have an elderly, blind dog and he takes exceptional care of him. Before Dog Island, I brought him to another groomer who had him for over 5 hours. He used to shake violently when I brought him in to be groomed. Now, he's relaxed and comes home happy.“

“This place is the only vet that would accept my new rescue pup these days, as other vets had long wait times and/or were not acccepting new patietns. It was not easy to find them, but im glad I did - the building is in a side street off Jericho turnpike and the building is quite simple. No fancy lights, fragarances, or expensive waiting area - they see the pup, treat her and kiss her goodbye.I cannot quite easily explain it with words, but what comes to mind is - simple bliss. The staff is lovely, the vet is funny and straight to the point. there is no fluff to get your money, if you are looking for fluff and shiny websites or pretty buuldings this place is not for you. They love the pet for what the pet is - a living animal who needs care, and I love that.the first visit was the fastes visit to a vet ( or any doctor for tha tmatter) i ever experienced. in and out in under an hour with all vaccinations, exam, nail trimmed and blood drawn.“
