“I highly recommend ProClinix in Ardsley, especially Michal! I came to physical therapy after being diagnosed with a stress injury that had kept me from exercising for a few months. I was anxious about getting back to my normal routine and especially concerned about doing too much too soon or re-injuring myself.

Michal didn’t just focus on the injured area. Through a thorough evaluation and working with me over multiple sessions, she identified weakness and instability in my hips, particularly on my non-injured side. This imbalance was likely contributing to overcompensation patterns that could have contributed to the injury on my stronger side. Understanding these underlying issues helped me realize that I needed to build strength and improve how I was moving to reduce the risk of having the same problem happen again.

Michal was extremely patient and thoughtful about progressing my recovery. We worked on hip and core strength, single-leg stability, balance, and proper form, gradually building toward running and eventually getting me back into strength and fitness classes. She paid close attention to how I was moving and adjusted exercises when needed, which gave me a lot of confidence throughout the process.

I’m now back to exercising, but I feel like I have a much better understanding of my body and what I need to work on to become stronger and more resilient. I’m incredibly grateful for the expertise, encouragement, and individualized care I received throughout my recovery.
