“AJ was my barber! I went in on a whim the other day because I was in the area and needed a haircut. Not only did AJ do a fantastic job with how he cut my hair. But he was also one of the most knowledgable barbers I had when it came to the craft. It was really refreshing seeing someone who cares about the small details when it comes to what they do. And when it comes to someone thats cutting your hair??? Thats definitely a trait you want in a barber. This would be my official barbershop if I lived in the area. But you can bet whenever I am back this is the place I am going to.“

“I've had the same person cut my hair for twenty years. I had to miss an appointment recently and needed to get my haircut badly. I walked into Dukes on a Wednesday and was able to quickly make an appointment for that Friday. I was not expecting to just walk in and get in right away. On Friday morning I showed up about 15 minutes early. I picked up on a few things immediately. The place was clean and you could see it was a professional operation. It was also busy which was a good sign because that means they have steady business. More importantly everyone was happy. The customers have relationships with the barbers. There was a younger kid who was smiling ear to ear after his haircut. It was very refreshing. My appointment was with Brian Barker. He did an excellent job. He was very friendly and easy to talk too. It wasn't easy having someone else cut my hair after twenty plus years. I can't recommend Dukes enough. It exceeded all of my expectations“

“I typically am not too concerned with style, and just am after a cut that maintains a professional look. I always say shorter on the side, and longer on the top, but Donnell explained the things I did not understand, and was easy going about me not knowing anything about typical haircut lingo.

I received the Distinguished Cut specialty, and it was one of the most relaxing, and enjoyable cuts I have ever had. . I think he did an excellent job making my hair look professional, and as the location implies...distinguished. Donnell was very friendly, and great to talk to. I love a scissor cut, and he utilized scissors as much as possible, and took his time and care in every little detail of my cut. The shampoo and conditioning was an excellent addition to my cut and amplified the relaxation. Unsure if the cleanup/after shave process was only part of the Distinguished Cut package, but it was excellent, and I felt like a million bucks after the whole package.

Donnell was my barber, and I will continue to see him. This was an excellent experience, and I hardly ever leave reviews, but his service, expertise, and professionalism is undeniable and unbeatable.“
