“Making an appointment online was easy. The barber was profressional. The haircut and grooming, definitely the best I've had. Straight razor finishing on the edges and attention to detail. I will be returning regularly in the future. It took me a few minutes longer than I planned to find the shop in the plaza, but that's on me.“

“I've been going to Dukes for about 6 years now. I see the same barber every time, unless he is on vacation.
All of the barbers there are top notch and friendly. They give great haircuts. They can also trim or shave your beard/mustache.
Each barber has their own set of regular clients, but they take walk-ins too. They are often busy so it might take a bit of a wait if you are a walk-in, but sometimes you get lucky. There were two walk-ins today and they were both seen within 5 minutes.
I usually text my barber when I want to make an appointment, and this works out perfectly for me. I don't think they make same day appointments, so plan ahead or walk-in and hope the wait is not too long.

“Nolan has now cut my hair twice in the last three months and both are the unquestioned best haircuts I’ve ever received. My wife normally doesn’t even notice when I get my normal cut, but since I started going to Nolan she tells me how great my hair looks.

Initially, I was perturbed by his lack of conversation during the haircut, until it clicked for me. I’m conditioned to make small talk with the person cutting my hair, and most of the time that small talk bothers me. Like, cut my hair, don’t ask me about the mushrooms my friend did at Phish last week.

I got a half hour of mostly silence while I was receiving a kickass haircut and I left the shop feeling all positive. Nolan, if you see this, thank you. I didn’t know I needed you until you cut my hair and made no effort to get to know me. I am dead serious, all my haircuts will be with Nolan moving forward.“

He knows how to cut hair. I’ve asked him for multiple different types of cuts over the past year and he always delivers. I have deferred to his expert opinion on how much to take off and I’m glad I did.

“I was introduced to Fraktel, Troy NY this past year. My oldest son(24yrs old) has been getting his hair done here for years. He referred his younger brother(16yrs old) who is on the spectrum so hes socially awkward and wierd about getting his hair done. As soon as we opened the door to Fraktel, everyone is so nice and very welcoming. Its very clean with a comfortable surrounding. Tyler does my sons hair and he does an amazing job. He is patient and answers any questions we may have. He helps show my son how to style his hair as well. After one visit with Tyler, he's been stepping out of his comfort zone.
