Best Barber Shops In Rensselaer

“I've been searching for just a place like this. I haven't had a haircut like this since I was a child. Sal is professional, kind and knows what to do with hair. He takes his time and drums up a good conversation that reminds me of old school barber shops. I usually end up with a cow lick after haircuts but this guy not only cut my hair without any direction but then explained why I won't get a cow lick after. I'll be back for my haircuts from here on out.“

“This barbershop won't let you down! I tried several hair cutting places in the area, many of which are loaded with female hairstylists. Nothing against hairstylists but if your going to cut mens hair then at least know how to do it so a high & tight fade isn't a low fade that looks like an ocean of waves on the longer hair on top. I couldn't believe after half a dozen attempts between the other places and cordial critiquing they still had my hair look like waves of different lengths on top. I did have one lady cut it great but she left that shop months later. Anyway I gave up on these places and gave the more expensive guys a chance. I usually see Codi who has never once messed up my hair. I've heard excuses from other shops tell me they can't fade a zero fade to scissors on top or even to a #6 on top, but Codi does it all! He can even fade a zero into #1 on the sides, around the ears into the fade going up the sides to the longer lengths on top. He always edges my facial hair for nothing extra. I've been going here now for a couple years and can honestly say these guys at this shop are worth every penny!!!! My old man used to tell me men cut men's hair the best. Well I ignored that for about 3 1/2decades, struggling the whole time to find a female at salons to cut my hair for cheaper. Although there were about 3-4 over the y are who could do it well the majority can't cut guys hair well. I finally gave in, my old man was right, you won't go wrong with the guys at Frankie's barbershop. I might just start getting crazy hairstyles to test the boundaries of their skills. ?“
