“I was looking for a gym that provided group training early in the morning so I could workout and shower before going to work. Thunder Fitness appeared in my IG feed and I took advantage of their 7 day free trial. They have many different plan options to fit your preferences so group training is not their only option. The facility is clean and large enough for the group to workout/train without being on top of each other. Each session is different but you learn the steps quickly from their friendly trainers. We cycle through boxing, strength training, cardio, etc. There’s an app where you can book your sessions and it emails you a reminder. I’m so glad I found Thunder Fitness!“

“1000% recommend trusting Thelis! She helped me lose ~11 pounds and back close to my original weight within 4 months by jumpstarting my metabolism again!I had gained ~15 pounds during the pandemic that I was unable to get rid of despite my tried and tested methods that I used before the pandemic to stay fit. I’d put off some weight only for it to come back - it was a defeating cycle. This led me to seek a trainer.There are a few things that I love about Thelis:1. She focuses on bodyweight strength training which was a plus for me as I wasn’t a fan of machines and I wanted to learn a workout not dependent on a gym2. She was proactive and focused on pain management and form adjustments which was important to me as I have lower back pain3. She was the only trainer who saw the “extra fat” I was hoping to shed during the consultation. This sounds silly but if a trainer can’t see what you see, they can’t help you accomplish what you want to accomplish4. She had a holistic plan across nutrition, cardio and strength training that she had confidence in!5. She’s a clear and direct communicator who sets expectations appropriately. As an example, I had switched to a vegetarian diet during the pandemic, and we had an open conversation about what progress and pace I can expect if I chose to stay vegetarian vs not.6. She seeks quality (which I do too)! This is in the form of her seeking quality ingredients but also referring me to quality other providers (e.g., chiropractors).7. She helps you learn about nutrition and ingredients along the way - I love this topic too so I was excited to learn and get more curious about what I was buying at the grocery store.8. She helped me incorporate her nutritional guidance into my eating habits. As an example, I cook a lot of Indian food so we found ways to adjust what I was making so I can still eat what I want with some simple tweaks.9. Most importantly - she’s FUN, motivating and challenging!!In terms of the results beyond losing the 11 pounds:1. I feel MY BODY is controlling my eating habits - not MY MIND! It’s much easier to eat better when you don’t feel like you’re forcing yourself to. This is maybe because as I started eating cleaner and reset my body to that level with Thelis’ plan - my body isn’t craving the salty (e.g., cheese is my vice) or sugary things. In fact, I can now literally hear my body yelling at me after I do eat such in the form of bloating, churning, etc. The Mind-Body-Experience (MBX) is possible!2. I feel MUCH BETTER in my clothes and I found love for shopping again.3. I’m seeing much more definition and tone in my arms, shoulders, legs, and abs.4. I feel less bloated, more energetic, less pain in certain parts of my body, & overall more confident!5. I was getting bored of eating out but now I look so much more forward to eating out again because it’s my “cheat meal” and I get to intentionally choose my treat (just like a kid!)“

Its got the dumbells, barbells, squat racks, good turf space, some different type punching bags and alot of unique athletic training machines for sports. “I hurt myself in the gym a number of years ago but wanted to get back into it. I searched for a trainer for about 2 months, checking out all the local gyms in my area. I found the chain gyms were formulaic and only focused on general hands-off guidance at a premium price. I was looking for very specific training focusing on teaching me how not to hurt myself again. José at Prime Fitness met and exceeded my expectations. He provided one on one guidance, handholding and encouragement. I can still hear him yelling "YES" when I did something correctly! He gave me an excellent launch pad and then went above and beyond! How do you put a price on health? My investment with José was well worth the cost! I will gladly refer him to anyone asking. “Bridge is a world class training facility. It is an incredibly professional environment in which the owners, coaches, and athletes are all really supportive and knowledgable. Whether you are looking to compete, get in better shape or feel better, this is the place to be. The coaches really take the time to work on your form and make incremental improvements. Since I have been going there, I have made significant strides in strength and have seen my resistance to injuries greatly improve. I would highly recommend everyone to give Bridge a try, you won’t go to another gym again!“

A friend of mine referred me to Vinn, and I decided to go. As soon as I met with Vinn, his only interest was to help me and cure my back pain. Our first one hour session helped me more than I thought possible. The best part is Vinn gave me a series of stretches to do everyday that keep my back healthy. Vinn is far better than any chiropractor or massage therapist I have ever been to and I could not recommend him more.“

“I started practicing Ashtanga in 2019 and felt very stuck in 2021 where I didn't feel like I was improving in my practice. I emailed Deb about taking classes and she was very supportive and encouraging. I've been attending Mysore classes twice a week and the improvement has been substantial. I'm now working on intermediate series and I couldn't do half the stuff I can now without her help. I trust her opinion and her recommendations and I appreciate the way she pushes me to do my best but knows when to back off if I'm not ready. I've been practicing at the studio for over a year now and I am a completely different person than when I started. She has been an absolute light in my life and I'm so grateful to have met her. I hope to practice with Deb for as long as possible!I also love the community here. People are so motivated to do what they love and push themselves to be better. Ashtanga isn't for everyone, it's very repetitive and does not fit certain personality types who want the "flow" type yoga.“
