“I had a total of 12 sessions of PT starting with an evaluation for insurance purposes. All of the sessions were conducted by a total of4 therapists and 2 assistants. They all were very professional, courteous yet friendly.. they all explained how to do the exercises and made sure that I do them right. At the end of the 12 sessions , I feel so much better and my shoulder is almost where it was before the accident that brought me to the PT.”

“Dr Thimmel is the best! I may be biased (he is my dad’s cousin so basically my uncle) but he is the kindest, most helpful, and well informed doctor I have ever known. I’ve been seeing him since he ran the practice out of his own office behind his home in Fair Lawn.<br>When I injured myself when I was 8? Maybe 10. I was playing soccer and my mom was seeing Dr Thimmel and she asked him to check me over well, I lied because my injury was right by my butt and I was embarrassed. He saw through it and he asked me where it really was, long story short… I had a stress fracture of the spine ! That’s wild!<br><br>Fast forward through life; any injury I sustained and any weird pains he is the first I go to.<br><br>My daughter now sees Dr Thimmel as well after our car accident.<br>The EMTs wrote her off and sent her home with my mom. Then uncle Billy checked her and she did in fact have whiplash.<br><br>He has guided me through how to handle the injury and deal with the car insurance and what doctors I would need to see as well as continuing seeing him.<br><br>He has been a godsend to not only me and my child but to my mom, brothers, grandparents, father, cousin. & more. I couldn’t recommend him enough.”

After going through a traumatic life event last year, I’ve been dealing with severe neck and shoulder pain likely due to stress. A friend recommended this clinic, so I walked in for a consultation with my UnitedHealthcare insurance.<br><br>The clinic is conveniently located, beautifully designed, and incredibly clean—more like a high-end spa than a typical PT office. The staff was welcoming, and I met Dr. Kevin Kim, who took the time to evaluate my condition.<br><br>I learned something frustrating: my insurance has a very high deductible, and I would need to pay out-of-pocket for possibly over 40 sessions ($175 each) before coverage even starts. I was visibly disappointed, exhausted, and in pain.<br><br>Dr. Kim saw how I was feeling and said, “Since you’re here, let’s take care of you today.” And he offered me treatment completely free of charge, just out of compassion.<br><br>I insisted on paying, even tried to leave a $50 specialist copay—but he gently refused. The female physical therapist was skilled, caring, and explained my condition clearly. She also kept checking in during treatment to make sure I was comfortable.<br><br>In a world that often feels driven by profit, this healthcare team leads with heart, empathy, and generosity. Who does that these days?<br><br>I left feeling lighter—not just physically, but emotionally. If I can find another in-network clinic, I probably will try it—but honestly, I would gladly return to Wellness PT and pay out-of-pocket because of the care I received here today.<br><br>Thank you, Dr. Kim and team. “This place is great. Dr. Kim is very easy to talk to and helpful with any problems. The Therapists work hard. A patient has to understand how physical therapy works. It is not a one day fix, but may take many visits. But it does work. I was there for a foot issue and the therapists did a great job alleviating my pain. Then I went back for a back issue. Great results. I highly recommend Premier Health Center, Dr. Kim and all of the staff there.”
