After rescuing Kona in September of 2020, we realized she needed a lot of support on walks due to anxiety and leash reactivity toward other dogs. Kona's trainer, Canine Cohen, recommended GoDog and we never looked back. Jason and his team have been so supportive from the start, and he even partnered with Kona's trainer to ensure we were all on the same page regarding Kona's care. I really believe Jason is one of Kona's favorite humans ever, she just about pees herself from excitement every time he walks through the door. He is attentive to all of Kona's needs and makes sure that she feels safe and comfortable on her walks in our hectic, fast-paced Brooklyn neighborhood. We also placed the highest level of trust in GoDog for overnight stays. On those occasions, Steph would make sure to send us daily updates, letting us know how Kona's day/night went, what parks they visited on walks, and of course some pictures of Koko.After four years of being with GoDog, we are so sad to say goodbye but we are so grateful for the amazing memories made. “We recently adopted a puppy from a rescue and realized that we were going to need someone to come and walk her at least a couple of times a week. When looking around online, I was so happy to see Sunset Mutts, since we obviously wanted someone nearby. It turns out that some friends up the street also used Sunset Mutts for their dogs, and had very good things to say. I got in touch with Gus, who responded very quickly and he came over to meet our puppy and talk about pricing, and he emphasized that he is interested in providing a service to help people. We started off scheduling 2 x 1-hour walks per week, and figured that there would be weeks when we'd need additional walks. Gus is flexible and is also willing to break up the walks into 2 x 30-minute walks, if the need arises - which we really appreciate. Gus has been fantastic - he is flexible, communicative, and genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. He's really helped us, sometimes with short notice, which we try not to do - but life can be unpredictable sometimes. We really appreciate how responsive he's been, he is very caring toward our puppy - and she LOVES him and Miles-the-dog. In conclusion - major thumbs up for Sunset Mutts, and big thanks to Gus for his friendly professionalism, great attitude and the care he brings.“

Mark taught me how to train and manage my first dog. In fact, Mark was the first guy Gulliver ever trusted--never before had he tried to jump a fence just to say hello to a person. Since then, I've trusted Mark to walk my dogs, help me care for my dogs when I get stuck at work, and help me train my dogs. He's even helped me foster two dogs, and was essential to getting them acclimated to my house, getting my dogs to accept the foster puppies, and getting the foster puppies trained enough to go to a forever home. “If I can rate Grateful Dogs higher than 5 stars I would! My husband and I had an amazing experience. We traveled up to New Jersey for the day and prior to travel I spoke with Alex, the owner, and explained how our 4month puppy hasn’t been around a lot of dogs and she’s shy at first. After my conversation with Alex I felt so comfortable with our decision to leave Luna in their care for the day and from someone who hasn’t left her with anyone before and is very picky with her care, this says a lot. Upon arrival Amanda was there to take her and Meghan arrived shortly after. They were both so pleasant and friendly. Luna went to Amanda with no problem and we immediately felt at ease to depart and leave her in their hands. When I called for the wellness check they informed me that she has been doing amazing and actually interacted with the other dogs! To our surprise, when we picked Luna up she didn’t come running to us to leave. She had such a good time she was sniffing around looking for more fun instead of greeting us. We were so happy she enjoyed herself. They trimmed her nails and groomed up her face around her hair and we are so grateful! She even smelt better and had a cute little pink bow in her hair! Our trip to Jersey was bittersweet being that we were there for a funeral service but we are forever thankful to Grateful Dogs in Wayne, NJ for going above and beyond and not only putting a smile on our puppy’s face but on ours as well.
