What really stands out is their availability even during emergencies—I truly feel safe trusting them with my dog. It’s been a wonderful service so far, and I’m very grateful.“

“Nese has been caring for my soft coat wheaten terrier for almost 7 years! She goes above and beyond for her clients and their animals and always makes herself available to help last minute. My dog can be difficult but she took the time to work with him taking him on little adventures around town to get used to being in stores and around other dogs. I haven't had anyone else care for our dog since we met Nese and imagine she will be in our lives for a very long time!! If you want to leave your pup in the best possible hands and know they are having SO much fun....Nese is exactly who you need!“

11 W 17th St, New York“Adam always goes above and beyond for us when caring for our dog. CityWags is a very dedicated pet care company. The service is exceptional - it feels as though family is taking care of our dog, not a pet care company, because they are SO good with her. They always look out for any health issues, their priority is to make the dog feel as happy as they are at home, in fact sometimes our dog seems like she wants to go to spend a weekend/week with Adam more than with us! She runs in circles and wags her tail and jumps up with excitement when she sees him. He has let us know about things he has noticed health wise and has even taken her to the vet out of concern if we are away if necessary. He has helped with training and behavior issues and keeps her healthy with lots of walks and exercise. She is spoiled rotten by CityWags and we would never trust her with anyone else. I am always a willing reference if anyone would like one - we are truly super loyal clients!“

206 Clerk St, Jersey City“While we did not take our dog to their training, we did meet the owners at a recent dog event. We met two of the dogs they were training and were very pleased. We spoke for 10-20 mins and agreed on many key training points and the proper use of electric collars. Based on that interaction, I'd recommend them to someone looking for basic or advanced training.“

55 Tiffany Blvd, Newark“Jenny has been taking care of my very skittish VERY anxious pup for years now. I really don’t know what we’d do without her. She’s kind, very patient with him (bless her) and so communicative. We get pictures of him when we’re on vacation and pick up and drop off is always a breeze. As nervous and scared as he is (which makes me worry about him) I know he’s always in good hands with Jenny. We appreciate her SO much!“

443 W 16th St, New York“My husband and I could not recommend Dog City enough. Our Golden Doodle, Carlos, began going to “school” at Dog City starting at 6 months old during the week and sometimes stay at “The Inn” for boarding. Carlos was so happy and excited to go every day and loved his Dog City family. Even better, we were residents at The Tate in Chelsea and benefited from Carlos being picked up and dropped off each day. We felt so happy and calm to be able to have Carlos there while we were at work or traveling. Dog City gave us daily report cards with pictures and updates that we always looked forward to! Carlos made many friends, both dog and human, and Carlos is a better socialized dog because of his time spent at Dog City.
Our experience with Dog City was truly great and we would recommend it to anyone looking for day care or boarding for their dog in NYC.“

76 W 28th St, Bayonne“Bov is incredible with the pets she grooms. She provides individual care and her facility isn’t an assembly line where multiple pets are being worked on at the same time. She is so patient with each pet and allows them to walk around and get comfortable with her. And when she’s grooming them, she allows the owner to stay with their pet to keep the pet comfortable. We originally brought our then 14 year old dog to her that had become very skittish with the grooming process due to his declining health. She was so wonderful with him that when we adopted two pomskies, she was our first choice for a groomer. One of our pomskies is very nervous and suffers from anxiety, and by the time she was done with him, he was giving her kisses and was very happy. In addition, she has a very accommodating schedule. I highly recommend Dog Bath and Beyond.“

3 Conners Ave, Little Falls“Pat has been an amazing mentor as we navigated the adolescence stage with our mini Dachshund as first time dog parents. He is honest, professional, knowledgeable, and humorous which we appreciated greatly. We attended all of the group puppy classes at larger pet stores and did not see the behavior changes we were looking for until we started sessions with Pat. We loved that he allowed us to bring in other family members who also spend a lot of time with our dog so they could be trained on how to appropriately handle him too. Working with Pat has given us confidence and optimism that we needed as first time dog parents. 10/10 recommend.“

We finally decided to try it and it exceeded expectations. Mercy was so nice, pricing was extremely fair, and our guy looks great. We will be using them from now on. Thank you!“

251 10th St, Hoboken“We recently used Dogboken’s overnight dog sitting service for our 5 month old puppy and had a wonderful experience. Leaving our young puppy overnight was nerve wracking to me, but the team made us feel completely at ease. They were caring, attentive, and treated him like one of their own. We received updates while we were away, and our pup came home happy and cared for. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Dogboken again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy overnight care for their dog.“

523 22nd St, Union City“I just have the courage to write a review about my Muffy experience at Puppy University!
Muffy was a client at Puppy University for two years while she was in town, and I truly cannot say enough about this place. They absolutely doted on Muffin and treated her like royalty.
The owner was always accommodating to our schedule, especially since we traveled often, and was very attentive—always asking detailed questions about Muffin’s health if he hadn’t seen her in a while. I never felt any anxiety dropping Muffin off, which says a lot.
One of the things that stood out most to me was their professionalism. At one point, Muffin had missed one of her shots, and as much as they loved her, they were firm in saying they could not take her. I respected that completely—it showed they were running a business that prioritizes the health and safety of all dogs.
I am so glad that my Muffy was part of their tribe. Muffin was the cutest Yorkie—she was sassy, full of personality, and lived a beautiful life, passing away at the age of 17.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and professional environment for their pet.“

1123 NJ-23, Wayne“This was my puppy's first full groom and I wanted to make sure he would be comfortable. I called and spoke with the owner and he answered all of my questions, which eased my anxiety. They gave me the first morning appointment for the following week and when we arrived, the owner came out, talk to us some more and I explained more about my puppy's skin allergies and his special shampoo that needed to be used. I also gave him copies of his rabies vaccine and other vaccinations, as they require that prior to grooming or day of play. While we talked, the owner played with my pup and then brought him in to be groomed. As promised, my puppy was done and ready to be picked up at 10:30am. Everyone there was so kind and attentive and I am so happy I chose to take my baby there - we definitely will be taking him back!“

681 4th Ave, Brooklyn“We love GoDoG and highly recommend them for dog walking and boarding. They have been walking and taking care of our dog for 8 years, since he was a puppy. Our dog loves all the walkers and when he gets to board, and looks forward to every walk. Everyone is super nice and we have total trust in them. Our dog is a handful and GoDoG minimizes all anxiety. A great part of the community.“

Upon picking her up from Throw me a Bone, I have never seen her happier post grooming. Not only was she happy to see me, she was incredibly affectionate with the groomer—a clear sign they had treated her gently, kindly, and with love. 10/10 would recommend.“

“I have been taking my dogs to Barb’s Bow Wow since I got my first collie in 2001! She does such a great job with them — even my latest rescue, who doesn’t like being groomed at all. My dogs have always left her salon looking and smelling great!“
