“If you live in Bergen County NJ, you know what a headache it can be to sell an older home. You need to replace your old septic system with a new one before closing. Bill Severs was recommended to us by our real estate agent. After talking with a few contractors, we felt most comfortable with Bill we contracted with him and are glad we did. While there were a few unexpected obstacles that surfaced during the project, the most significant one was related to the engineering design for the new system. The engineering plan called for the removal of a 75-foot oak tree and the new systems connection to the house would need to be at least twelve inches above grade, crossing our recently paved walkway to the back door. After reviewing the engineering plan with Bill, he took a few minutes to redo a few calculations and came up with a solution. He made his recommendation to the engineer, and his solution was written into a new plan. His knowledge and experience saved us a lot of headaches and several thousand dollars.
