If you live in Bergen County NJ, you know what a headache it can be to sell an older home. You need to replace your old septic system with a new one before closing. Bill Severs was recommended to us by our real estate agent. After talking with a few contractors, we felt most comfortable with Bill we contracted with him and are glad we did. While there were a few unexpected obstacles that surfaced during the project, the most significant one was related to the engineering design for the new system. The engineering plan called for the removal of a 75-foot oak tree and the new systems connection to the house would need to be at least twelve inches above grade, crossing our recently paved walkway to the back door. After reviewing the engineering plan with Bill, he took a few minutes to redo a few calculations and came up with a solution. He made his recommendation to the engineer, and his solution was written into a new plan. His knowledge and experience saved us a lot of headaches and several thousand dollars. The project came in on time and in budget. Bill and his team always made time to answer our questions and put our minds at ease. I usually never ever spend my time writing these reviews. We had Landscape Dynamix and Backyard Oasis and Spa completely redo our backyard. They built a beautiful large freeform pool with all the bells and whistles including water features such as a large stone waterfall and water and fire bowls, lighting and full automation. They also put in beautiful landscaping, including large mature 20ft green giant evergreens everywhere for full privacy, full high end hardscaping, raised paver patio with full bbq kitchen, lighting, hot tub jacuzzi, etc etc. Looks absolutely incredible and left me and everyone who’s seen absolutely speechless. Could not be happier. Could not imagine it could look this good. It literally transformed my backyard and added multiples of what I spent in terms of resale value. Experience could not have been any better and more pleasing. One stop shop really. Exceeded all expectations. Bill is a total pleasure to with deal with. AMAVA came today to put mulch in our planters. It’s my first time paying someone to do it because I normally can’t justify paying someone to do something I can do myself. However I just had hernia surgery and can’t pick up bags of mulch right now. They did a great job and everything looks fantastic! Good value for the money as well. I may actually use them to do it every year or so since they did such great work.
Going out of my way to write this review because of how great The service Charles Langley from the irrigation department provides! He's the only one Working the irrigation department and more ! I was there for 30 min and i heard his name called over 10 times by his coworkers for non irrrigation related questions ! While juggling everything else he still makes sure to provide me with great professional service Ina timely manner! He knows product numbers and skews by heart which still amazes me because of how many different fittings there are ! He stayed 40 min past closing today making sure that I got everything in my order ! Service like this is why I consistently use site one as my main supplier for all my irrigation and lighting supplies !
Outstanding work, clean, and very reasonable pricing. I have used many tree companies I can’t say I have ever had a terribly negative or bad experience but what I will say as a developer and contractor these guys are the real deal and by far my favorite. In such a tight spot near a fence and a home they were able to take down two trees in what seemed to be only two or three hours using my neighbors property and not doing a single scent of damage . Amazing work, and I will say it again so pleased with how clean they are. Owner is a pleasure to do business with and very fast turn around time in our situation. Thank you guys keep it up! Colin and his team did a great job for us! We have old growth trees on our property in northern NJ that needed to be trimmed to remove sailing and dead wood. Mostly Norway maples and a pin oak tree. The Norway maples have a dense canopy, inhibiting understory growth.All work was done with care and respect for the property. They cleaned everything up very well when finished. The whole team was really professional and helpful. Good pricing.
This is the first time I put my dog in boarding after 11 years as my dog sitter wasn’t available. A friend recommended Mahwah Groom and Board. I had him go for a few trials before my big trip. Both times, he came home happy. My trip was almost two weeks. They sent me pictures and photos of Dexter while I was away. He looked happy and I was reassured that he was in good hands. I also had him groomed before I picked him up. He came back happy and beautiful. I will definitely board him again when I am away.
