We recently hired Monouth Vinyl to update the siding, gutters, and the roofing above our bay windows, and I cannot say enough great things about the experience. From start to finish, they were more than just contractors. They were true collaborators who cared as much about the final result as we did.

They took the time to talk through design choices, explain the process, and make sure every decision was right for our home. And this wasn’t a simple project. they helped us modernize a 1960s house in a way that felt thoughtful and intentional with a full tare off of cedar shake.

We were also working with a separate company to install new windows, and they handled that coordination seamlessly. They waited until the windows were finished before discussing trim, never rushing us and never treating it like an inconvenience. That level of patience and professionalism is rare.

Throughout the project, we went through three change orders (because, of course, we changed our minds!), and they were nothing but accommodating. No frustration, no attitude — just solutions, guidance, and genuine flexibility.

In the end, they did far more than just siding. They helped bring the entire exterior of our home to life, and the craftsmanship is absolutely outstanding. You can tell they take pride in their work, and it shows in every square inch.

“Had my roofing and gutters replaced. Art visited my home to provide the initial estimate. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and patient. He walked us through all the options and helped us decide between them with never a feeling of upselling occurring. He is very authentic. The application process for zero interest, zero payment financing for a year (all done through Art’s visit) was also very seamless. The materials arrived within the 5 weeks promised and the office was extremely accommodating with scheduling. Michael, the foreman, texted me the night before reminding me of exactly what to expect and was on site the morning of. The roof replacement took 1 day; 7 am to 7 pm. The roofing team was prompt, efficient, pleasant, and left the property clean - as though they had not even been there - and the dumpster was picked up early morning the following day. Michael followed up with us afterwards and helped to coordinate the replacement of the gutters which occurred within 3 days. We were very happy with the service and the results. Thank you!“

“Safegress did a great job with the installation of an egress window to our older house. They gave a competitive quote, filed for the permit with good drawings, worked very hard with digging the well in our hard clay soil and did the installation well. There was a slight problem with the grading of the soil after installation because of heavy rains and Safegress went above and beyond by bringing us a big load of more soil free of charge. I would recommend them to anyone needing an egress window.“

“Duraplex replaced my front entry door. The installation techs and their helpers were excellent. They did a really good job installing the door. The communication was very good and the price was fair. Everyone i spoke to was really nice. I had some minor issues with the door. First issue took them 4 months to fix. Second issue was addressed right away. I took off one star because the hardware they installed on the door didn't match. I had no expectation of it matching perfectly. But it was really bad. Like not even close. The hardware I received was a different shade of antique brass than the picture of the hardware they showed me. Which is not an uncommon problem and not their fault . However, I wish they had called me and said the set was not a good match before they opened the packages and installed it on the door. It could have been returned with no loss to either of us. When the installer came to swap out the hardware the first thing he said to me was “I see what you’re talking about it doesn’t match at all”. So I’m not crazy and it absolutely should have been caught and addressed before the hardware was removed from the packages and installed on the door. Next time I have a door replaced I will get my own hardware so I can see in person that it’s matching before I pay for it because I had to pay extra to have it changed out for hardware that did match. I highly recommend avoiding the antique brass set. Also, they will only install peel and stick numbers on the door. I realize that thats a thing somewhere in the world, but I've actually never seen peel and stick numbers on a door. And now i know why. It looks tacky and cheap. when I signed the contract for the door I was told they would not do peel and stick, they would use the numbers that screw into the door. I did argue against it twice during the installation and both times i lost the argument. Obviously. So here i am with the peel and stick numbers. it just wasn’t what they told me they would do when I signed the contract. Anyways its Something to keep in mind if you don't like the peel and stick numbers either. I got a few quotes and I would have gone with a different company if I knew that that’s what they were going to do up front. Overall, with those issues aside, I'm pretty happy with the service and the door installation. Full disclosure I did edit my review to address contractor responses.“

“FB Roofing is a family business which has been around for a long time, now run by Frank and his daughter Sophia, both of who are a pleasure to deal with.
Frank listened to what I wanted and explained in some detail the various options available. He had an abundance of written materials he left with me which we discussed further after I had read them.
It was a learning experience for me, and I appreciated that there was never any pressure applied to make a decision.
The price was very reasonable, and the end product was a substantial new roof that will serve to protect the house for years, as well as significantly increase its value.
The work was performed on time by a skilled crew under the supervision of Emmanuel (Manny), their experienced foreman, and clean up was meticulous.

My gutters needed cleaning while they were at my house they also explained to me that I need to repair a few of my gutters and showed me the damaged ones. They offered to provide me with a quote and I decided to get another quote as a second opinion. Their rates were very reasonable compared to the other quote I received.
