“My fiancé and I adopted a golden doodle back in May of 2023. We were struggling to find a good routine for him but Jennifer saved the day. We had 6 training sessions that changed our life. We, with the help of her, got our puppy on a schedule that got him into a comfortable routine each day. She also worked with him on basic commands and behavioral skills that have helped him become more obedient and well behaved. From day one, she loved on our little guy so well, and we even were able to build a wonderful relationship with her as well. We can’t thank Jennifer and Hudson Barks enough for all of their help. “I've meant to review this place for so long, and now I have a little free time. I just picked my Bouvier Des Flandres up from a groomer in Seattle tonight. There was no rhyme or reason to his haircut. He looked like an abstract painting, and that's not a compliment. I've heard it before: "He's so hard to groom! He doesn't sit still!" I know that. And that's why I wish I still lived in NYC, because I swear, the woman who groomed our Bouvier at Honey's was some kind of dog whisperer, and I've compared every groomer to her since then. NYC, you are LUCKY to have this grooming salon. I remember calling after 5 hours asking, "Is my dog ready?" She answered, breathlessly: "He's a challenge. He doesn't like the clippers. So I brewed myself some coffee and left the clippers on, buzzing near him on the table." She actually gave my dog time to desensitize to the sound, and it was effective. I've tried this myself, but it wasn't the same. I can't recall her name, but whoever you are, you truly have a connection to animals. You are patient, kind, and you are an artist!!! If I could charter my own jet with my dog to your salon, I would!!“

“Wilson is the absolute BEST dog trainer around. Our lab was extremely hyper, impossible to walk on leash, and the one time he got off the leash he ran into the road, not good. Immediately after that happened, we booked Rosa’s 1 week advanced training, and it is UNBELIEVEABLE how well behaved our dog is. The 3 weeks he’s been back so far have been the BEST imaginable time, honestly makes me wonder why we haven’t done something like this for all of our dogs. He’s now a 99% off leash dog, and we are so proud of what he can do, we look to show it off to everyone we know, but most importantly, we can finally enjoy letting him be a dog with full confidence that he will listen when we need him to. “I brought my dog here to work on some socialization issues. He went 3 days a week and always came home tired and happy. I now have an 8 week old puppy and brought him to puppy socialization. It's definitely worth it because Max and his team know dogs! Asher came home and slept 5 hours! I am looking forward to Asher also attending more classes and school as he becomes older. LECA staff are professional and wonderful to work with. If you're wondering if you should make an investment-do it. You won't be disappointed and you will have a happier dog.“

“Biscuits & Bath Battery Park is THE BEST! My dog loves all of the staff & so do I. I never have to worry about him when I'm at work and they go above and beyond to accommodate my crazy work schedule. I also use them for grooming and he always looks so cute. The place I used prior made me nervous bc they left dogs unattended on the grooming table (I actually stayed once the whole time bc I was scared) but NOT Biscuits & Bath. It's worth every penny spent!“

“We absolutely love Camp Bow Wow. After having bad experiences at every other dog daycare in Hoboken and Jersey City (dog fights, bites, etc) I was driving my dog Pete to a different Camp Bow Wow location over 30 min away. I was thrilled when the location opened in Hoboken. The staff is super kind and I can tell they really love my dog. The owner also identified a health issue my dog was having and potentially saved his life. Super happy they are nearby!“
