“This was our first visit with our little budgie named chirpy. She’s afraid of everyone. However, when Dr. E held her she was so calm. He has a wonderful connection with animals. He is kind and gives you choices through his recommendations of how to help your pet. Dr. E called back several times the days following our visit to check on chirpy and her progress. The staff is wonderful and I would highly recommend taking your loved pet to this clinic. Thank you, Dr. E and everyone in your office.“

“When we rescued our pup (malinois/bernedoodle mix) in October, it was the first time we had a puppy, let alone a large breed puppy (at 6 months he is already 62 pounds). Admittedly I didn’t know enough of what I was getting into, and mistakingly expected this experience would be as laid back as that of our prior rescue of 12 years. I was wrong and quickly realized I would need help. Our friend/neighbor who has had 2 German Shepard’s highly recommended Anne and Good Dog Pet Training. In fact, while a 20 minute ride from our home, Anne was a perfect fit to help me and worth the drive!! She has a Malinois herself, and helped me in each of our private sessions to work on Buck’s responses and behavior. One key example she helped me to overcome my aversion to a prong collar to see amazing results such that Buck and I can now walk for more than 45 mins at a clip, while being patient with other dogs and as we pass people. She has also helped with the importance of structure, and practice exercises to do on our own. I would highly recommend Anne and her team!!“

“This is the first time I put my dog in boarding after 11 years as my dog sitter wasn’t available. A friend recommended Mahwah Groom and Board. I had him go for a few trials before my big trip. Both times, he came home happy. My trip was almost two weeks. They sent me pictures and photos of Dexter while I was away. He looked happy and I was reassured that he was in good hands. I also had him groomed before I picked him up. He came back happy and beautiful. I will definitely board him again when I am away.“

“Lex and her team of groomers always do a fantastic job with our two Morkies. I especially love how quick the girls are in and out - in under 2 hours - without spending all day there. And, I also love the personalized attention our girls get. I really disliked that at a different place I previously took them in Montclair that would keep each pup for 4+ hours which was extremely stressful for them.“

“I have a diabetic senior dog who is on a very regimented schedule for feeding and insulin. For the past 5 months, I've had to hand-feed her meals 3x a day to ensure she could receive her insulin doses. This process became unattainable and very stressful, so I reached out to Frank at Behavior Plus for advice. He offered an assortment of suggestions - adding specific products to her meals to entice her, removing metal bowls from her feeding, adding in a treat/reward approach during feeding times, etc. He also suggested her actions may be related to behavior issues and associating the kibble with pain. We made the changes Frank offered and now our dog is eating on her own for the first time in months! Big thanks to Frank and his team at BPDT - their compassion for pets (and their human parents) are like no other. I am forever grateful for his time and expertise in getting my dog back to her normal self.“

“Ramapo Valley Animal Hospital has been such a comfort to our family during a very difficult time. Our dog fought IMHA for three weeks, and throughout that battle Dr. Katara(especially) and the entire staff were consistently kind, patient, and compassionate.

They took the time to explain what was happening and what each step meant in a way we could actually understand. Even when the situation was heartbreaking, they treated our dog with so much care and dignity, and they treated us with empathy and respect as we tried to make the best decisions we could. Saying goodbye on January 5 was devastating, but the compassion and warmth we were shown made an unbearable day a little more manageable. Tanner's reached out to me immediately to update me. They made an appointment with his vet, Bergen County Veterinary Center, which happens to be right next door, and then they brought him back, took amazing care of him and administered his medications until I got home a day later. Tanner's is a special place.“

“First time going to this location it seemed like the staff love animals, went in for an emergency checkup and was seen very quickly. Very nice location with options of treats, toys, and medicine for my kittens. The vet that saw my kittens was as friendly as can be, even providing a lot of caretaking tips that I didn’t know. Can not complain in the slightest. THEY EVEN HAVE FREE COFFEE AND BISCUITS“

The owner Chris came to our house before hand to meet your fur baby. Mylo was immediately comfortable with him. Chris is beyond knowledgeable and pretty much interviewed me.
