499 Marlton Pike East, Cherry Hill“My daughter attends karate classes here, and it has been a wonderful experience for her. The instructors are patient and kind when communicating with the kids. If they notice a child struggling, they come over to offer one-on-one guidance. They instill positivity, self-love, and strength, not only in karate but also in other areas of life, encouraging the children to always choose themselves, be honorable, control their emotions, stay focused, and respect their parents. I have seen a tremendous change in my daughter's self-esteem. She truly enjoys karate, even though she is very girly.“
9AM - 9PM
450 S Fellowship Rd #3, Maple Shade“I signed up for a free class and having no martial arts experience I was nervous, but instantly felt welcomed the moment | arrived. Marco was there to personally greet me, shake my hand and walk me through what the class would look like.
I unfortunately was not able to participate the way l'd hoped (because of my own medical issues with my heart) so I had to stop training shortly into the class. Marco then invited me to sit with him, observe the class and chat with me for the next half hour since I had already drove to the class.
During that half hour he educated me with a wealth of information about his training philosophy. I asked him some questions about martial arts and what I could do to learn some form of self defense that wasn't as cardio intensive. He offered me some alternatives, but told me my time and money would be better spent training myself technique from videos online since I couldn’t participate in a class environment. He was upfront and honest with me which I appreciated.
From my non expert observation, this is the place you want to train. It's not just sport focused, it's HIGHLY self defense focused. You will constantly be training against others gaining skill. And most important you will be taught how to critically think, not just copy moves. This place is the real deal.
Marco is intensely passionate about his craft, and if you train here I’m sure you will become that way too. 2 free classes never hurt anybody! So do it.“

It has been several years since my last visit. I found the dojo refurbished with more mat space, nicely organized, and super clean. It created a wonderful setting to train. The instruction led by Jason Perna Sensei was wonderful and inspirational with lots of personalized coaching throughout the session. The setting, instruction, and students there created a serious and fun experience. I can’t wait to visit again sometime soon! Thank you!“

We are now almost a month in and he's thriving! He asks every day if he has class. Master Ju is so amazing with the kids (I even enjoy sitting and watching the class because he's always making everyone laugh) All the instructors are great, especially Miss Kylie. I love how there isn't a set day you have to attend, makes it easier on the parents. I am so thankful we found this place.“

I’ve known sensei for almost 25 years and he is kind, the learning environment is friendly yet structured, he is very knowledgeable about martial arts and has an excellent teaching style. Taking classes at martial arts hero factory your kids aren’t learning how to fight! They are learning discipline, respect, self defense and kindness. Great school, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.“

150 Fries Mill Rd, Blackwood“If you're not doing your kids birthday parties at Best of the Best, you're missing out. We just had our 6 year olds bday there and it was 1000 times better than any bounce house or trampoline park. Kru Jon and Sensei Jon had every kid engaged and included. The parents were blown away by how organized things were and they loved not having to follow their kids all over a huge park. 10/10, would do it again in a heartbeat.Note to parents... it's also more affordable. Which also helps.“

1760 Barbara St, Philadelphia“I started training with Philadelphia JiuJitsu this past summer and it has been a great experience so far. Damon is extremely knowledgeable with over 30 years experience and has a great passion for teaching. What is unique about Philadelphia JiuJitsu is that it is more than a jiujitsu school as it incorporates many different martial arts. There is judo, wrestling, aikido, knife and stick fighting, and practical self-defense techniques. So you can come to a class that focuses on what you are interested in. The price is fair, the instructors are knowledgeable and whole gym is welcoming so if you are looking into learning martial arts and self defense Philadelphia jiujitsu is worth a visit“

He does a better job listening and following instructions as well as showing respect. I feel like he has learned about setting goals, working hard, and also improved his confidence. It has also sparked a new interest in him of getting stronger and making healthy choices which I love to see. Instructor Amy is wonderful and I would recommend this program to any parent!“

33 S Main St, Mullica Hill“We have been with this OKKA family for over a year now. The Coakley's are fantastic and have made my son feel right at home. He thoroughly enjoys coming especially on a cycle that teaches board breaking. As a parent, I appreciate that his senseis' give him tough love. They correct him when needed as well as praise him when deserved. My husband and I have both seen the growth in him throughout this year here and continue to look forward to what the future here holds for him.
* I also want to add that we had his birthday party here during the summer and it was so much for fun for my son and the kids. Between the Coakleys' and a couple of the older kids helping out, there was literally no prep or clean up and as a mom of 3, that was an awesome change from previous parties. There was no stress on my part and it was beyond appreciated.
My son still talks about how he can't wait to have his party here again this coming summer !“
4 - 8:30PM
1275 Blackwood-Clementon Rd, Blackwood“Sensai Irene was very thorough and courteous. We signed our son up for the trial period and we're hoping he sticks with it after our local studio closed last month. Only downside is the classes are shorter than we're used to. They're only 35 minutes long, but we'll see what happens. Too early to tell if he'll stick with it, but it seemed like a great environment so far.“

I can't wait to learn more and grow with this amazing art form! I'll be sure to update later as I go along!“
