He taught me to always check my surroundings, stay aware, and make sure everything is clear before turning or changing lanes. “10 Stars if I could! This school is easy to reach, flexible and has an amazing set of staff! My driving instructor who I could only work with for 20 hours guided me on the right path to passing my driving lesson on my first try! Even with a short pause in between my lesson I was still able to get back on the right path to learning the do’s and don'ts of the busy roads of NYC being able to tour the area while learning gave me the tools to be ready for anything. I thank my teacher Everlina for giving me a rich 20 hours of learning even with such high anxiety. The community is all love and i would highly recommend!🫶🏽”

“I was very anxious when I first started taking driving lessons with Ideal Driving School. As someone who has always struggled with anxiety and who was learning to drive later in life, I found the whole experience quite overwhelming. Thankfully, I was lucky enough to have Carlos as my instructor, and he made all the difference.<br><br>Carlos was an incredibly kind and patient instructor. He was never frustrated, impatient, or unkind, even when I was anxious or pessimistic. Instead, he always kept things positive, encouraged me, and reminded me that I was capable of doing it.<br><br>He even called me on the morning of my driving test to check in, see how I was feeling, and offer some last-minute advice and encouragement. Well, I took my test today—and I passed! I genuinely don't think I would have had the confidence to do it without Carlos's support and encouragement.<br><br>If you want to learn how to drive with someone who is encouraging, kind, and genuinely invested in your success, I highly recommend Carlos. “I had a really great experience with this driving school from start to finish. I took the 5-hour class with Barbara, and she made it genuinely engaging and useful. I had taken the same class somewhere else before where they basically just put on a video for five hours, so I really appreciated Barbara’s old-school, hands-on approach.<br><br>I also took several driving lessons with them. My first lesson was with Tom, and most of my lessons were with Orlando. Orlando is an excellent instructor—patient, calm, professional, and very good at making you feel relaxed behind the wheel. He never makes you feel stressed or pressured and explains everything clearly. I learned a lot from him and really enjoyed our lessons.<br><br>Before my road test, I also had a lesson with Lenny, who was great as well. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful.<br><br>Another thing I really appreciated is that when they say a one-hour lesson, they actually mean a full 60 minutes of driving. They also pick you up and drop you off at your home, which makes everything extremely convenient.<br><br>I didn’t pass my first road test, but I went back for a second attempt and passed! Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend this school, especially Orlando. Thank you to Barbara, Tom, Orlando, and Lenny for all the help!”

I took the test twice, and thanks to Sujeta’s guidance, I was able to improve my driving skills after my first attempt and successfully apply those improvements during my second test. “This is the best school ever !!! I went to a different school and I lost 5,000 dollars because they didn’t trained me properly. Long story short I ended up going to Smith and Solomon and I didn’t regret not one thing! I have my CDL thanks to God and the instructor’s ?? they are amazing starting from Carolyn in the office, she’s such a sweetheart she is for the students. Anything you need she will help you with no problem. And we have Nick he’s the supervisor and he’s also an amazing instructor ?? Nick is the most patient person ever and he cares for all of his students. Don at the yard will teach you everything you need to know step by steps to obtain your drivers licenses don you are my favorite ☺️ we also have another Don , Mr. Don but he’s teaching you how to shift gears and be the best at it on the road!!! MAKE SURE YOU LISTEN TO HIM because if you listen you will neverrrr grind a gear in your life!!!!! This school is not just a school is a family environment where you’re going to be comfortable and stress free ? I recommend it to anyone who wants to become a professional Driver!!! ??”
