Empire State Driving School provides an exceptional learning experience with a kind and attentive instructor. The driving lessons are tailored to the student's needs, helping them build confidence and improve their skills. The instructor is patient, direct, and ensures the lessons are engaging and productive, guiding students to successfully pass their driving exams. Students praise the instructor, Everlina, for her bubbly personality, patience, and efficiency. She helps students become more confident and comfortable behind the wheel, even those with no prior driving experience. Everlina's joy and humor are described as infectious, and she goes above and beyond for her students of all ages and abilities, including those with anxiety. The lessons with Everlina not only help students pass their driving tests, but also start to break down habits of being hard on themselves.
10 Stars if I could! This school is easy to reach, flexible and has an amazing set of staff! My driving instructor who I could only work with for 20 hours guided me on the right path to passing my driving lesson on my first try! Even with a short pause in between my lesson I was still able to get back on the right path to learning the do’s and don'ts of the busy roads of NYC being able to tour the area while learning gave me the tools to be ready for anything. I thank my teacher Everlina for giving me a rich 20 hours of learning even with such high anxiety. The community is all love and i would highly recommend!🫶🏽
We truly can’t say enough good things about Everlina. Before she started working with our son, we spent about an hour on the phone with her, talking through our goals and what we hoped for. She took the time to explain her process and shared her gentle but firm approach to teaching driving. As she said, and I’m paraphrasing, you can’t coddle someone when they’re learning to drive. Everlina teaches students of all ages, but what really gave us confidence was her experience helping students with neurodivergent challenges learn to drive safely and properly. As many other reviews have stated, Everlina is a magnificent driving instructor! She is polite, kind, respectful, but knows when to be stern and tell students what they need to hear, to be better. Everlina truly cares about her students and treats them like family and her only objective is to see them succeed. If you drive with Everlina often and listen to what she says, you will pass the road test! I first started driving only the weekends, but once I started making my lessons more frequent and began to meet at least five days a week, I passed my road test with her on the first try!
