Empire State Driving School provides an exceptional learning experience with a kind and attentive instructor. The driving lessons are tailored to the student's needs, helping them build confidence and improve their skills. The instructor is patient, direct, and ensures the lessons are engaging and productive, guiding students to successfully pass their driving exams. Students praise the instructor, Everlina, for her bubbly personality, patience, and efficiency. She helps students become more confident and comfortable behind the wheel, even those with no prior driving experience. Everlina's joy and humor are described as infectious, and she goes above and beyond for her students of all ages and abilities, including those with anxiety. The lessons with Everlina not only help students pass their driving tests, but also start to break down habits of being hard on themselves.
Everlina was awesome. Clearly is one of the best driving teachers in the city, and absolutely LOVES what she does - in the short time we were together right before my road test she laid everything I needed to know out for me in a way that was concise and very easy to grasp. Passed my road test on the first try. I also took three lessons with Dorrian who was super chill and clearly knows his stuff as well, showed me the ins and outs of parallel parking and I was much more comfortable with it in no time. Both are amazing people and I highly recommend booking with them if you were cramming for your license like me!
Writing this upon getting my road test results, where I passed on the first try!! Something I would not have been able to do without Everlina. She is extremely professional, but also patient, understanding and caring. Take your lessons with her and don’t second guess it. I will miss seeing her every week!
I can’t recommend Everlina enough! She created such a safe and comfortable environment every time I got in the car, which made learning to drive so much less intimidating. She always knew how to be realistic with me while also reminding me how much I was improving, and she truly helped boost my confidence and made me feel like I could really do this.
She is incredibly patient and constantly reminded me that everyone’s driving journey is different and that it’s all about your own personal journey. That mindset made such a difference for me.
