Lamprey Health Care Medical Clinics

“I had my first appointment with Lamprey this morning. I was very impressed with the staff, as everyone was not only very pleasant, they seemed actually happy. Every single person I interacted with today was happy and helpful, everyone had smiles. Even the construction workers were friendly and happy, one pointing me in the right direction to check in when I came in. I have some experience as an owner in healthcare, and this is the kind of patient-staff interaction that most businesses wish they had.

My appointment was establishing a new PCP, and both the MAs and the APRN were thorough and knowledgable. All test results were explained, and explained well, all of my questions answered, and a follow up was not only recommended, but set up so that I would receive a reminder.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but with my experience today, they certainly earned it.“

“All the staff create a safe space for patients. The setting is welcoming as well as the staff. Dr. Malepeddi has great bedside manner. She's a keeper. My experience has been that she responds to any issues I address in a way that brings me a sense of confidence that she has my best interest at heart and is on top of current or brewing issues with competency and compassion. I'm grateful.“

1 Parkland Dr, Derry
Parkland Department of Imaging Services Medical Clinics

“I have been going to Parkland for 15+ years. i have had two surgeries, one being for breast cancer. From initial through follow ups, every one involved was wonderful. My latest visit, was to Cardiac out patient dept for my annual echo to monitor a condition. (It was an initial visit years ago due to extreme hyper tension- i met Dr Cohen. He brought solutions & kindness for me. I have continued to go each year. The cardiologist that I have seen are some of the best. The techs who have done my echo each year are professional & friendly. The tech I had last week was also tech that I had last year. This year I met Dr Graff, who immediately put my mind at ease. I want to mention Gerri & thank her for her continued kindness. Thank you to the nurses who have made follow up calls to see how I am doing. Having worked the healthcare arena- instilling confidence with kindness a key to the patient care. Cindi Tuite“

“I took my mom to the emergency department at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center on a Friday evening for breathing problems. I am very pleased with the experience we had and how she was cared for. She was taken from the waiting area quickly, triaged and immediately brought into the emergency department for treatment. Everyone there was very kind and attentive. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. The nurses and technicians all introduced themselves and were efficient and thorough. The doctor was attentive and patient. He explained everything to us and made sure all of our questions were answered.“

“Ya know I just had to get one more review in before the new year. And wouldn't ya know it? It's another medical center. I'm thinking of enrolling my son's name into the Guinness Book of World Records for most accrued injuries and bizarre conditions within a year's time. But, I digress. What is it with medical centers being rated so harshly around here? We encountered the same kind of thing with the Dartmouth in Lebanon; the one with TWO Yelp pages, for some reason. Seems like a few people had some lousy experiences with the staff or something. On this day though, we encountered nothing but professionalism and cordiality. Oh, and also a bit of confusion. See, their internal layout takes some getting used to. First of all, most sections have their own lobbies, apparently. So, you don't necessarily have to check into the first desk you see as you walk in. It solely depends on what section of the building your appoint is in. So, for instance, we needed X-rays. We proceeded directly to Radiology, which has its own check-in desk. I dunno, maybe I haven't spent enough time in hospitals to really notice. But there's usually a proxy desk one checks into before proceeding to the actual appointment. Kind of like what happened in Orthopedics.. Okay. Get this. In order to properly check into Ortho, you don't go directly to their check-in counter. Noooo. Turns out, you actually have to visit the main check-in desk on the third floor. Yes...the very first set of windows you see. This is unlike our first appointment where we headed directly to the section in question. So anyways, you go to the first check-in window to get a set of labels with the patient's name. THEN....you go to Ortho, labels in hand. And TA-DAAAA! You're checked in. We saw the Doc and he seemed very knowledgeable. We liked that they take the path of least resistance in terms of treatment. No invasive procedures unless it's absolutely necessary. Also, X-rays were quick and easy. I was actually surprised! Not sure how long this facility has been open. But they seem newish. At any rate, I just appreciate having a Dartmouth so close to home. And I dunno about any of these other supposedly horrid experiences. But ours was...fine. I only wish the check-in procedures here weren't so arbitrarily vague. I'm giving Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Nashua 4 expedient X-rays out of 5.“

New England Neurological Associates Medical Clinics

“I saw NP Xiao for over a year, initial to address my migraines, but inevitably because of seizures. She was always friendly during my visits, accommodated telehealth appointments since people actively struggling with seizures can’t drive, and worked with me to find the best migraine treatment possible. My insurance initially didn’t want to cover the migraine medicine that has worked best for me, but she found ways to make it work, and I still take that medicine now.

Once my care transitioned to being more focused on my seizures, I did not feel like I got the care or answers I was looking for. To this practice’s credit, it took me being admitted at an epilepsy center for 8 days to finally get diagnosed and end up on anti-epileptic medication. I am now having seizures much less frequently, and my new Neurologist is playing with dosage to find what will hopefully make them go away all together.

I would recommend this practice for care of things like migraines and headaches, but I feel like going to the center in Lebanon or heading to Boston if you have seizures. The only other mention I have is that I was marked as an “inactive patient” only 3 months after my last appointment, and I only found out when I went to fill a prescription at CVS. It would have been nice to be notified.“

“I have had nothing but fantastic experiences with everyone here, especially Dr. Chwals. His ability to figure out, and fix a complex, rare, and delicate situation is the reason I have a son.“
