I had a great experience here. I'm from Los Angeles have been coming to Winston-Salem for a few weeks over the last year. This time I brought my 8 month old Pomeranian with me. I was able to get a same day appt at the VCA to have my puppy seen for cold/allergies. Dr. Groneck was really wonderful. He spent a lot of time with us going over medical history, vaccines, the issue itself and answered a bunch of my other questions. He didn't sell us on any unnecessary procedures or products. I wish he was my DR at the VCA in LA!

I tried this vet because I got a new puppy a couple of days ago, and most places could not book an appointment for several days. He was throwing up a lot, and I was really concerned. He had a full exam, got a prescription for something to help with his motion sickness, and was given a bag of a different puppy food. Since then, his energy really picked up on the better brand of puppy food, he's running around, and he seems all around happy. I'm so glad that I was able to get him in rapidly, and the vet was both kind and knowledgeable. He was willing to answer any questions that I had, and he made that very clear.

I want to say if it were not for VCA I would not have my beloved dog Marley Man AKA Bob Marley...my dog had a unique medical crisis and Dr. Jackson saved his life not only was she kind and compassionate the whole staff was, they went above and beyond to care for my very ill dog who could have died and surgery was the only fix for him and it was not even a guarantee but Dr. Jackson truly is a devoted talented vet and surgeon as well as her technicians. I'm beyond grateful and thankful Bob Marley is all smiles now!!!!
