“I took my newly adopted shepherd mix to Jim in desperation and hopes he could turn things around. I was pretty hopeless going into it and after my session with Jim I left with the tools needed to continue training my dog at home. The techniques and skills Jim used (and taught me) changed the dynamic of my relationship with the dog. Thankful to say the dog is a loved member of our family now, thanks to Jim.“

“I love taking my little puppy to Village Way. They were recommended to me by my sister in law who also loves them. Every person that works in that office is so kind and caring with the animals. We are thankful for a wonderful place like this to take such good care of our little pup. They are all such wonderful animal lovers.“

“They had more control of one of our dogs then we do. That tells me he trusted them. Absolutely a smooth visit for 2 of our dogs. Third one has an appointment coming up. I had 2 other dogs going there before they passed away. Was very pleased with their care there too.“

“Great job on my rescue Pedro. I'm sure he'd never been bathed let alone shaved in his 6 yo life. He did great and loved it. Please come to Winston Salem asap!!!“

“Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. This is a very honest practice. They do not overcharge or ask for services not needed for your pet. Plan your visit in advance, they always stay busy.“

“Have been taking my 2 canines to Dr. Schill & Dr. Hoffman for many years. One of my canines crossed The Rainbow Bridge on 6/23. The whole staff including Dr. Schill could not have been more compassionate with lots of hugs & tears....an awesome staff who is extremely helpful & knowledgeable. I wouldn't take my canines to any other vet office.“

“We have always had a great experience with Dr Pugh and the team! We brought our cat Zeke in in February for what seemed to be a urinary blockage and they helped us figure out a plan for him to get him feeling better! They were super patient with him (he’s not the nicest) and have us peace of mind knowing he was taken care of. Our girl Sadie has always been afraid of vets and becomes fear aggressive. The staff were super sweet to her and while it’s still something we are working on we have hope one day she will grow to love coming in. Our new pup Cane also received the best care getting loved on and lots of treats during his checkup! As a pet owner it can be hard to find a trustworthy vet. The staff here have excelled at commitment to care of our pets! We are so grateful for them and all their hard work, from the vets to the ladies up front and vet techs. We couldn’t be more appreciative of all of them!“

“Carolina Pet Place has taken care of all of our pets for a decade, when ever we are out of town. When medical emergencies /hospital stays meant that our little sweethearts needed to be in a safe place while we attended to our family member. I know my Houdini dog will not be jumping a fence, or dodging a door at persons home that is well meaning, but not prepared for his antics. Being in a safe environment means the most to me, and that veterinary care is immediately next door available if needed is a bonus. Thank you also to the friendliest front desk crew in town!“

“Love this place and you can tell the staff genuinely love animals. They have grooming services and will allow you to keep your pet there for the day if you are working. Great staff and a healthy pup“

“We sent Sophie our GoldenDoodle to the 2 week obedience course at Charlie’s K-9 Camp. I must say I was beyond impressed with Grace and her abilities as a dog trainer. The Sophie we sent and the Sophie we got back is the difference in night and day she is so well behaved and she now takes commands by voice and hand gestures it has made having her so much more enjoyable. I absolutely recommend Grace and Charlies K-9 camp.“

“New to the practice but the Dr seems kind and she was gentle with my 2 kitties. We'll definitely be back. Might need them for boarding too“

“No pics but I needed to give this place a review because I have two dogs that I have to board on the regular. Both my dogs hated all the places we have used in the past and I mistakenly thought it was because they didn't like being boarded. They would literally put the brakes on and start whining when I would try to get them in the door anywhere else. I admittedly made fun of "fancy" boarding places in the past but after having happy dogs for drop off and pick up, I am a convert. My bigger dog, Chester LOVES going to RuffHousing because he loves ppl and other dogs, and he gets playtime daily with every stay. Levi, my little grumpy old fella, does not like other dogs and tolerates ppl....even he will happily go in the door at RuffHousing. Something not seen in all of his 15 years! If you have multiple dogs they will allow them to stay together. Staff is helpful and friendly and the facility is clean too. Anyway, it's expensive but I feel better leaving them here and that's worth the extra money to have that peace of mind.“

“Ruff Housing was recommended by a friend. While I was in Winston-Salem to visit my aunt, my dog needed some playtime. Both of us were really happy with her time there. I bought a package of visits because we will be back again.“
