Our HVAC unit went out this winter and it was near freezing temperatures. I called Land N Sea and when Austin answered the phone he was very professional and was so knowledgeable was able to diagnose the problem with the symptoms I told him, He made time to come the next morning to access the problem. Fortunately it was an easy fix and he had a replacement part on his truck. Austin was so professional and cheerful and as knowledgeable as they come. I will be recommending Land N Sea to all of my friends and family!

Jon Hyman and his crew did an excellent job creating new landscaping beds to replace what was destroyed by the hurricanes. Jon is always a great help! We love the Limelight Hydrangeas blooming all summer and then the Snowman Camellias blooming November and December!

After recently experiencing an epic fail from a previous stylist, I was so apprehensive meeting Lee but there was no need. Lee invested so much time in me asking me questions and getting to know my hair LOL. And the result was nothing short of perfection! As you will see the before picture was the color that was placed on my hair that was nowhere near what I requested at my previous stylist's salon... I usually Michael or Richard cut my hair. I let the other guy cut my hair and it was the worst haircut. He didn't seem to care and he obviously didn't listen. He cut an excessive amount of hair off despite my request.
Moral or the story, go with Michael or Richard. Also, I don't know if James still works there but he was a great barber too.
Shave and a haircut! It just feels different when you get out of the chair with a fresh cut and shave. Coming back again! There is just something about sitting in an old style barber chair! Takes me back to my youth when Mr. Leonard Collins would cut.my hair in Newport!

My go to place for a mani/pedi! They also do waxing which is great! The longest running nail salon in Morehead and their great service explains why. Beverly always does my nails exactly the way I like them 💅 They know their clients by name and every single person that works there is always friendly. There is a rainbow wall of colors to choose from for your manicure or pedicure but yes they do specialty designs too upon request but that cost extra$$. They also do nail repairs if needed
This is the best nail salon in MHC. I tried about all of them over a course of 1 year before going to B.E. nails. I have now been going here for almost one year consistently. Eric, Bryan and the two other ladies there are absolutely wonderful. Eric does my gel French manicure each time and it is perfection. I have had everyone do a pedicure and it is consistently wonderful and the gel polish lasts a long time. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. They also have great prices. I always recommend making an appointment ahead of time because they do have a regular clientele base, but of course will accept walk-ins if they can accommodate

Very clean atmosphere, extremely friendly staff & soothing music video playing on a screen overhead (…so many nail places blast “club-type” music….which is not conducive to relaxing!)
I teach school, plus I have had 2 foot surgeries, so my feet & lower legs have dealt with a ton of stress. The technician who worked on my feet was very careful of the surgery sites , but at the same time gave me a very therapeutic massage. He seemed to really care about relieving the tension in my feet/legs.
We were here on vacation -so I could only come once ….I wish I could come here every week!

Before I went natural Sandy was almost the only person who I let touch my hair. Any picture you showed her, she was able to recreate. What I loved most, she worked with integrity. You may have wanted to make an impulse decision out of emotion, such as cut your long hair to an inch, she would suggest something you wouldn’t regret the next day such as shoulder length bob and go shorter the next cut. I’ll never forget seeing her do something like that with her client and it’s stuck with me for years. I remember wanting to bleach my hair all at once, she wouldn’t do it. She suggested highlights and we would do more the next time. It’s not all about financial gain with her, she cares about the health of your hair first! My mom is a long time client of hers, and she’s always been so good to her personally and professionally. The establishment is clean, friendly, and professional. ?

I have been to Wild Olive in Morehead City twice now and had two different stylist. Both experience were amazing and I left feeling so happy with my results! The most recent visit, I had Kaitlyn and she was so sweet, professional, and accommodating. She listened thoroughly and asked specific questions regarding what I was wanting done. She asked me a few times if she could get me anything to drink and made sure to check that I was comfortable throughout the visit. I absolutely loved my cut and highlights and she made sure that I was satisfied with my results. I felt refreshed, relaxed, and confident after my visit!

Work was done in two days and I was so impressed they cleaned as they went. They were like magicians . You wouldn’t have even know all that work was being done outside it was so quiet. They re-sided my house. I would hire them again in a flash. The entire experience from talking to receptionist( very friendly) to meeting with Mr. Jones( friendly, on time & great follow up)to actual work performed was exceptional. After Hurricane Florence & 3 attempts to get help re-siding my house(ind would show up, say they'd get back w/ an estimate & never did), I can say that all appts were kept, calls returned and they got the job done at a reasonable price. They also take on smaller jobs around the house. I'm making a list!

I called Davies Contracting two weeks ago to inform them that my house was on fire. Multiple managers, including the owner arrived on the scene shortly after the fire . They helped my wife and I navigate through the overwhelming situation. their assistance has not waivered as we are dealing with insurance companies . The process of putting our house back together and making us whole again Will be made easier knowing that Davies contracting is on our side.
We have an outdoor post light that shorted out in very heavy rains, that is until Steven and Nick showed up, identified many problems with the original construction of the light. Everything is now fixed and new light is much better design than the original. Professional, polite, and even restrung downed string lights while they were here.

Yall treated me like family and it was humbling. They are absolute professionals. These folks are IICRC certified (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) and are the regional subject matter experts when it comes to top notch restorations. I have traveled with them across the entire eastern Carolina area, and they have the fleet vehicles, man power, and equipment to get jobs done right. Highly recommend this vet. My dog was 13 and we’ve been to many vets over the years but this place stands out. They aren’t pushy on products or services and they allow you to make the decisions. The vet laid out our options but my family and I decided euthanasia was the humane thing to do. The staff was incredibly compassionate and walked us through the process at our pace. Although I’m incredibly sad to think about this day, I am forever thankful this is the vet we chose for our sweet boy’s senior care. When the time comes we will absolutely return to the vet.
