Seabrush Painting (Scott and his team) was my first experience in dealing with contractors in the Outer Banks. They were communicative, on time, and thorough. I was thrilled with the results on my interior, stairs, and garage flooring. I would definitely use them again for my painting needs.

He took my call promptly and explained to me clearly how he could help me get the best result possible for my situation. For a reasonable fee he took all of my stress out of the equation and professionally handled my matter to my satisfaction. Not every lawyer is the same. This guy and his staff are competent and great to work with!

Megan at Tranquil Touch is amazing! I visit her every year when we are at OBX....I drive from northern Corolla, passing multiple other places, to get to Megan's slice of tranquility. Her massages are absolutely amazing, the exact right combination of firm pressure and relaxation. Highly recommend a visit if you are anywhere near Tranquil Touch! It is worth it!
I called Sunnyside Blinds on a whim after searching online at “value sites” trying to get an idea how much it would cost me to put blinds on 24 windows (including installation). I felt perhaps the totals were running high, so I called Sunnyside and spoke with Drew. He invited me to let him quote the same project. He even came to the house and personally measured every single window and explained to me the advantages of installing a few differently than the way I felt they should go (he was right about the inside vs outside mount once I saw them). Long story short? Sunnyside’s prices were right there with prices from the two biggest online sellers. In addition to good prices, I got quality blinds, quick professional installation, and a local person to stand behind them. I’m sorry I ever thought to go anywhere else! Highly recommend Salty Salon and Goods!!!The barber is professional and gives the best fades on the beach. If you’re looking for a tight fade and excellent service, go see the salty barber. Their merch is fire! I just got one of their new salty hats and it pairs perfectly with my fade. If you’re looking for lowkey but fire apparel, check out their shop as well!
Pete Kelly and the team at Caribbean Pools are one of the most professional teams we have contracted with on the OBX. Every detail was spelled out to us for the removal of the old pool and hot tub and the installation of the new. They worked well with the other contractors we had on the project for the fencing and landscaping and worked within the HOA guidelines.
They timed the work perfectly so we will be ready for the rental season.
We highly recommend Caribbean Pools.

Payton from Glimmer did my bridal hair, as well as hair for one of my bridesmaids and both of our moms, and she was fantastic! She was friendly, helpful, and so easy to work with throughout the entire process.
She gave me the beautiful beach waves I had envisioned for my Outer Banks wedding day, and they turned out perfectly. She even helped with my husband’s man bun, and he said he had never looked so good in his life!

I can't thank EVERYONE at the Kellogg Design Center enough for their help with our bathroom remodel!! They created custom cabinets that Far exceeded our expectations. Not only was everyone professional and easy to work with when we needed backup help on other aspects of the job, but they were also the most responsibly priced, with better products and easy installation.

We had Professional Floors install new carpet in every room of our townhouse in Southern Shores. We worked long-distance with Brad since we live in NJ. Brad could not have been any more helpful or friendly. He even sent us pictures of sample carpets to help the decision process. The overall cost was reasonable, the quality excellent, and the work was completed in just 2 days. We are thrilled with the results. We recommend Brad and Professional Floors without hesitation.

Mr T. Saw my wedding nails i got done in PA and told me they were not up to his standards and he couldn’t let me get married with those thick nails!! He insisted on fixing them for me for free (tipped him ofc!!) he repainted them and made them look fabulous. Wonderful experience and they all took great care of me for my wedding week!! Beach Realty were very helpful from the beginning of my search to this survey. Kept me informed the entire time especially the week before and the day of arrival. We even got in earlier than expected. Would go thru this company again for a rental home.
Thanks to this office my vacation was saved. My family was on vacation down in Salvo and on the 2nd day I started with a terrible toothache. I wasn’t sure what to do at this point but figured a dentist would be the best bet vs a walk in. This office not only was very pleasant and understanding, they got me in the same day. Sure enough after an xray I had a tooth infection and antibiotics were prescribed. After a few days the tooth pain went away and I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation. I just came home from my regular dentist now being home and they 100% agreed with what this dentist said. I am very thankful to the sweet receptionist and staff at this office as I wasn’t a local and they fit me in. Thanks.
