Glimmer in Kitty Hawk was the perfect place to get ready for our wedding day! The salon itself was absolutely adorable and had the perfect lighting for taking all of our getting-ready photos. The entire team was also incredibly easy to work with, which I especially appreciated as someone planning a wedding from out of state.
Grace did my hair, as well as most of my bridesmaids’ hair, and she did a phenomenal job! She listened carefully to exactly what I wanted and was incredibly meticulous about making sure everything was just right. Payton from Glimmer did my bridal hair, as well as hair for one of my bridesmaids and both of our moms, and she was fantastic! She was friendly, helpful, and so easy to work with throughout the entire process.
She gave me the beautiful beach waves I had envisioned for my Outer Banks wedding day, and they turned out perfectly. She even helped with my husband’s man bun, and he said he had never looked so good in his life!

I highly recommend Alexis!! I first went to Glimmer looking to cut my really long hair, short for the first time ever. I also wanted to add some lighter pieces in the front. Alexis did exactly what I asked for and it came out so pretty(first picture). I then booked travel hair & make up for my wedding day, and had Alexis again. I asked for simple hair & make up, and she did amazing!(second picture) - she is very sweet, personable & talented. I would also like to mention everyone I spoke with at the Salon was super nice & quick to respond to any questions I had prior to my wedding day.
